How to farm Mysterious Mushroom in 1.0

Fastest no-combat route

Chop the giant blue mushrooms in Sakurajima's Mushroom Wetlands with a Metal Axe — blue ones drop Mysterious Mushroom far more than red. No per-hit rate is datamined, so it's not in the kill math, but it's the consensus bulk method.

Best per-kill Pal

Dualith Noct (World Tree, Lv 75–77) drops 3–5 at 100% — the most per kill. Shroomer Noct (Sakurajima, nocturnal) is the most accessible at 1–2 @ 100%. Mycora gives 2–3 but only at 50%.

Not the plain Mushroom

Mysterious Mushroom (internal PoisonMushroom) is a separate item from plain Mushroom and Cavern Mushroom. It's "not suitable for eating raw" — it's a crafting ingredient, not food.

No sell value is shown: the item's gold price is reported inconsistently across sources.
