Palworld 1.0 Breeding Calculator

Pick any two Pals to see exactly what they hatch, or pick a Pal you want and see every pair that breeds it. Built on datamined Palworld 1.0 data — all 288 Pals, the reworked recipes, gender combos and the Pals that now only breed true.

01

What do two Pals make?

Pick two parent Pals to see what they hatch.

Order and which parent is male or female don’t change the child — except for the one gender-decided pair (Katress + Wixen), which the tool spells out.

02

How do I breed a specific Pal?

Pick a target Pal to see every pair that breeds it.

Pairs are ranked easiest first (lowest combined breeding rank). A Pal marked breeds true can only be made from two of itself, or caught.

03

How breeding works in 1.0

The averaging formula

Every Pal has a hidden breeding rank. A child’s rank is the floor of (rank A + rank B + 1) ÷ 2, and the game returns the eligible Pal whose rank is closest. That usually lands between the parents — but not always: variants and recipe-only Pals can’t be formula results, so the answer snaps past them. 180 pairings produce a child rarer than both parents, 114 with no special recipe involved.

Special (variant) recipes

A set of fixed pairs override the formula to make an elemental variant — e.g. Relaxaurus + Sparkit → Relaxaurus Lux, Frostallion + Helzephyr → Frostallion Noct. 1.0 kept the Early-Access recipes and added new ones for the 25 new variant Pals.

What 1.0 changed

72 new Pals were slotted into the breeding-power order, so many old recipes now make a different Pal (Penking + Bushi now yields Sibelyx, not Anubis). And the tower bosses — Faleris, Shadowbeak, Grizzbolt, Orserk, Lyleen — are now same-species-only. This tool uses the new data, so it already reflects all of that.

For the full mechanic — the Breeding Farm (Tech level 19), Cakes, the Egg Incubator, Mutation and passives — see our Palworld 1.0 breeding guide.

Notable special combinations

05

Pals that only breed true (same-species-only)

These can’t be made from a mixed pair — only from two of themselves, or by catching them. In 1.0 the list grew to include the tower bosses. All 24 are derived from the same combination table this page runs on, so this list and the breeds true badge above can’t disagree.

Breeding ranks are datamined from the game’s DT_PalMonsterParameter table via PalCalc (MIT) and cross-checked against palworld-save-pal; combinations come from PalCalc’s breeding table. Data version: Palworld 1.0, extracted 2026-07-11. Breeding data can still be refined post-launch — for anything mission-critical, cross-check a live datamined tool.
