Key takeaways
  • WIAA is two different bodies: the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (Central time) and the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (Pacific time).
  • Wisconsin’s 11-player state semifinals are listed for Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. CT at neutral sites, and the State Finals are Nov. 19-20 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
  • Wisconsin’s 8-player state final is Belmont vs. Gilman, Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. CT at South Wood County Stadium in Wisconsin Rapids.
  • Washington’s state rounds are Nov. 13-14, Nov. 20-21 and Nov. 28, with all six finals at Husky Stadium in Seattle on Dec. 4-5.
  • ⚠️ Washington’s brackets were still empty on the morning of Nov. 7; based on last year’s schedule they may appear Sunday, Nov. 8, but the WIAA has not announced a date.
  • Washington finals tickets are $34 adult and $25 student/senior/military for both days, or $19 and $14 for one day, plus fees; Wisconsin’s WIAA lists no price.

“WIAA” names two different state associations, and both are in the middle of their football playoffs. In Wisconsin, the 11-player state semifinals are listed for Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. CT at neutral sites, and the State Finals are Nov. 19-20 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. In Washington, the state rounds run Nov. 13-14, Nov. 20-21 and Nov. 28, and the six finals are at Husky Stadium in Seattle on Dec. 4-5. Washington’s brackets had not been set when we checked at 6:58 a.m. CT (4:58 a.m. PT) on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026.

Which WIAA do you mean, Wisconsin or Washington?

There are two WIAAs, and this guide covers both in separate parts: Wisconsin first, then Washington. The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (wiaawi.org) uses Divisions 1 through 7 plus a separate 8-player tournament, and its times below are Central. The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (wiaa.com) uses classifications 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A, 2B and 1B, and its times below are Pacific. The two systems never overlap. A “Division 4” game is always Wisconsin, and a “2A” game is always Washington.

This page names schools and scores only. It does not name any player, and it carries no rankings or predictions.

Wisconsin: where do the 2026 playoffs stand?

Wisconsin has 27 of its 28 state semifinalists set. The sectional finals (Level 3) were played Friday, Nov. 6, and one game is left. 224 teams qualified across the seven 11-player divisions, and the pairings were revealed on Saturday, Oct. 17. The game still to be played is the Division 4 sectional final between Racine St. Catherine’s and West Salem, on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. CT at Horlick Athletic Field in Racine.

The WIAA bracket lists each round with this date and standard kickoff time (Central):

RoundDateKickoff (CT)
Level 1Fri., Oct. 237 p.m.
Level 2Fri., Oct. 307 p.m.
Level 3Fri., Nov. 67 p.m.
Level 4Fri., Nov. 137 p.m.
FinalsNov. 19-20By division

One Division 7 first-round game was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m., and the D4 sectional final above is on a Saturday, so “Friday at 7” is the default rather than a fixed rule.

Wisconsin: who plays in the state semifinals, and where?

The 11-player state semifinals (Level 4) are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. CT unless a site says otherwise, and every game is at a neutral field. The pairings and sites below are the ones shown on the WIAA bracket and in the site list published on Nov. 6. The WIAA calendar lists the semifinals as Nov. 13-14, and the sites and times are subject to change, so check the bracket before you travel.

  • Division 1: West De Pere vs. Racine Case at Sun Prairie East (Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium); Hamilton vs. Bay Port at UW-Oshkosh (Titan Stadium)
  • Division 2: New Richmond vs. Monona Grove at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln; Notre Dame vs. Union Grove at Slinger
  • Division 3: Pewaukee vs. Catholic Memorial at Wauwatosa West; Port Washington vs. La Crosse Logan at DeForest
  • Division 4: Freedom vs. Little Chute at Ashwaubenon; Lake Mills vs. the winner of Racine St. Catherine’s and West Salem at Stoughton
  • Division 5: Lake Country Lutheran vs. New Glarus at Elkhorn; Darlington vs. Amherst at Horicon
  • Division 6: Mondovi vs. Kenosha St. Joseph at Waupaca; Bonduel vs. Lomira at Kimberly (Papermaker Stadium)
  • Division 7: River Ridge vs. Glenwood City at Chippewa Falls; Iowa-Grant vs. Hilbert at Oconomowoc

In Division 7, River Ridge beat Cochrane-Fountain City, and Iowa-Grant beat Ithaca/Weston 50-0. Independent outlets reported both results Friday night, before the WIAA’s Division 7 bracket page was updated.

Wisconsin: what are the State Finals kickoff times at Camp Randall?

All seven 11-player state championships are at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison: four on Thursday, Nov. 19 and three on Friday, Nov. 20. The WIAA lists these kickoff times (Central) for each division:

DivisionDateKickoff (CT)
Division 7Thu., Nov. 1910 a.m.
Division 6Thu., Nov. 191 p.m.
Division 5Thu., Nov. 194 p.m.
Division 4Thu., Nov. 197 p.m.
Division 3Fri., Nov. 2010 a.m.
Division 2Fri., Nov. 201 p.m.
Division 1Fri., Nov. 204 p.m.

The finalists will be the semifinal winners from Nov. 13.

Wisconsin: when is the 8-player state championship?

The 8-player state final is Belmont vs. Gilman on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. CT, at South Wood County Stadium at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. It is a single title game, separate from the seven 11-player divisions, and it is the first of Wisconsin’s state football titles to be decided this season.

Wisconsin: how do you get tickets?

Tickets for Wisconsin’s state football events are sold digitally through GoFan, the WIAA’s official ticket seller, and the WIAA does not show a price. The WIAA Tickets page has separate entries for the 11-player State Finals at Camp Randall (Nov. 19-20) and the 8-player final in Wisconsin Rapids (Nov. 14). Its notes say three things:

  • A single ticket price applies to students, adults and seniors alike.
  • Online processing and handling fees are added on top of the ticket price.
  • Children two and under do not need a ticket.

When we checked, the Tickets page did not list the Level 4 semifinals. Watch the WIAA site and the host school’s announcements for how semifinal tickets will be sold.

Wisconsin: how can you watch on TV or stream?

The 11-player State Finals air live on the WIAA State Television Network, but the semifinals depend on school and local streams. The WIAA lists these stations for the finals:

  • WKOW 27 (Madison)
  • WAOW 9 (Wausau)
  • WXOW 19 (La Crosse)
  • WQOW 18 (Eau Claire)
  • WLUK/WCFW CW14 (Appleton/Green Bay)
  • WCGV My 24 (Milwaukee)

The finals also stream live on those stations’ websites and news apps and on the WIAA Sports LIVE app.

For the semifinals, the WIAA points viewers to its Web Stream Central page, which lists streams run by schools and local outlets. The WIAA says the NFHS Network holds the streaming rights for events before the State Tournament.

The 8-player state final streams on WIAA.TV, the WIAA’s portal on the NFHS Network. You need a subscription, which the WIAA’s Watch page lists at $11.99 a month.

Washington: where does the state tournament stand?

Washington’s state brackets were still empty on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 7, because the qualifying round was still being played. Week 10 (Nov. 6-7) is the state play-in round. Regional coverage describes it as a Round of 32 in 4A, 3A and 2A and a Round of 24 in 1A, while 2B teams were finishing district play and 1B has its own qualifying path. At 4:58 a.m. PT, all six WIAA state brackets read that teams have not been assigned yet.

Last year the WIAA released the brackets on the Sunday after Week 10. Based on last year’s schedule, the 2026 brackets could appear on Sunday, Nov. 8, but the WIAA has not announced a date. Until the brackets are out, no Washington matchups, sites or early-round kickoff times exist.

Washington: what are the round dates?

Washington’s state tournament runs over four weekends, from Nov. 13 to Dec. 5. The WIAA brackets list each round with these dates. Every game before the finals is marked time to be determined (TBD):

RoundDatesKickoff (PT)
Round 1Nov. 13-14TBD
QuarterfinalNov. 20-21TBD
SemifinalSat., Nov. 28TBD
FinalsDec. 4-5See below
  • The higher seed is listed as the home team. The WIAA lists the Nov. 28 semifinals at various locations, so check the brackets for each site.
  • The 4A, 3A, 2A and 1B brackets have 16 teams each.
  • The 1A and 2B brackets have 12 teams each, and the top four seeds get first-round byes.

Washington: what are the kickoff times for the finals at Husky Stadium?

All six Washington state championship games are at Husky Stadium on the University of Washington campus in Seattle, three on Friday, Dec. 4 and three on Saturday, Dec. 5. The WIAA brackets list these kickoff times (Pacific) for each classification:

ClassDateKickoff (PT)
1BFri., Dec. 411 a.m.
1AFri., Dec. 43 p.m.
3AFri., Dec. 47 p.m.
2BSat., Dec. 511 a.m.
2ASat., Dec. 53 p.m.
4ASat., Dec. 57 p.m.

The stadium address is 3800 Montlake Blvd. NE, Seattle.

Washington: how much are tickets?

Washington publishes official prices for its state football tickets, and service fees are added to every ticket. GoFan is the WIAA’s digital ticketing partner. The prices below are adult / student-senior-military, as listed on the WIAA Tickets page:

  • Round 1 and quarterfinals: $13 / $10 plus fees. These games are run by the WIAA districts hosting them, so the seller and the details can vary by site.
  • Semifinals (Nov. 28): $14 / $11 plus fees for an all-day ticket. It is valid at every semifinal site that day.
  • Finals, both days (Dec. 4-5): $34 / $25 plus fees.
  • Finals, one day (Dec. 4 or Dec. 5): $19 / $14 plus fees.

The WIAA defines the discount categories this way:

  • “Student” means children ages 5 to 11 and students 12 and over with a valid high school or middle school ASB card.
  • “Senior” means age 62 and over.
  • “Military” covers active duty, veterans, Guard and Reserves with military ID.

Children under 5 get in free. Fans are encouraged to buy online in advance, and the WIAA says limited paper tickets will be available at most sites on game day.

Washington: how can you watch?

Washington’s state football games stream through the NFHS Network’s WIAA-WA portal, which is linked from the WIAA’s Football Tournament Central page. Watching on the NFHS Network takes a subscription. The WIAA’s own app (iPhone and Android) carries brackets and results. We found no TV partner for the 2026 Washington finals, so check the WIAA football page closer to Dec. 4 before planning to watch on TV.

What should you re-check before game day?

Kickoff details in both states are still moving, so check the official brackets before you go. Re-check these items:

  • Wisconsin, Division 4: the Racine St. Catherine’s vs. West Salem result after its 4 p.m. CT kickoff Saturday decides Lake Mills’ semifinal opponent.
  • Wisconsin, Level 4: sites and the 7 p.m. CT start can change, and the calendar allows for Saturday, Nov. 14 games.
  • Washington, all classes: seeds, Round 1 matchups, host sites and kickoff times appear only when the WIAA publishes the brackets.
  • Washington, finals TV: watch the WIAA football page for any broadcast announcement.

How we verified this

Status pinned at 6:58 a.m. CT (4:58 a.m. PT) on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026 (12:58 UTC), when the official pages below were re-read.

Wisconsin: the round dates, the 7 p.m. bracket kickoffs and the semifinal sites come from the WIAA’s own tournament brackets (halftime.wiaawi.org, Divisions 1-7, last updated 10:40-11:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 6). The pairings and sites match the list BoundWisconsin published on Nov. 6, which calls them subject to change. The WIAA calendar lists the semifinals as Nov. 13-14, so a Saturday move is possible. The Division 7 bracket still had not been updated with the Level 3 wins by River Ridge and Iowa-Grant when we checked. Those results rest on reports from outlets with different parent companies: WXOW and the Winona Daily News for River Ridge’s win over Cochrane-Fountain City, and Channel 3000 and Civic Media for Iowa-Grant’s 50-0 win. Division 4’s Racine St. Catherine’s vs. West Salem game had not been played (Nov. 7, 4 p.m. CT), so Lake Mills’ opponent is written as the winner of that game. The State Finals kickoffs, TV stations and streaming details come from the WIAA football tournament and Watch pages. The 8-player final comes from the WIAA 8-player tournament page. The ticket details come from the WIAA Tickets page, which shows no prices.

Washington: the round dates, bracket sizes, byes, home-team rule and final kickoffs come from the six WIAA state brackets hosted on wpanetwork.com. All six still read that teams have not been assigned yet at 12:58 UTC. The semifinal and finals dates and the venue come from wiaa.com/football, and the ticket prices and categories come from the WIAA Tickets page on wiaa.com. The expected Sunday, Nov. 8 bracket release is an inference from 2025, when the brackets came out the Sunday after Week 10 (Spokesman-Review, Nov. 9, 2025). It is not an official 2026 announcement. The Week 10 format (Round of 32, Round of 24 in 1A, 2B districts) comes from regional sports coverage dated Nov. 1-5, 2026, not from a WIAA page. We found no TV partner for the 2026 Washington finals.
