Silent Hill: Townfall Editions and Bonuses: What Deluxe's Extra $10 Buys, and Where to Get Each

Silent Hill: Townfall comes in two US editions, Standard at $49.99 on digital or PS5 disc and Deluxe at $59.99 on digital only, with Deluxe adding 48-hour early access, an alternate outfit and a Bonus Application holding an artbook and soundtrack. Both are sold on the PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store, and the Standard disc is at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, GameStop and Amazon. The game unlocks for everyone in the US at 12:00 a.m. ET Thursday 24 September 2026, which is 9:00 p.m. PT Wednesday 23 September, and at that moment every preorder button becomes a buy button.

What editions of Silent Hill: Townfall are there?

Silent Hill: Townfall has two editions. Standard costs $49.99 and is sold digitally on PS5, Steam and Epic and as a PS5 disc; Deluxe costs $59.99 and, in Konami’s words, is available as digital only. Those are the PlayStation Store’s and Steam’s own US prices on Wednesday 23 September 2026; we could not see Epic’s.

The game is by Screen Burn Interactive in Glasgow, co-published by Konami and Annapurna Interactive, and rated M by the ESRB for Blood, Strong Language and Violence.

What are the Silent Hill: Townfall preorder bonuses?

The preorder bonuses are two cosmetic skins that change how the game’s CRTV looks: CRTV Style: Rusted on every platform, and CRTV Style: Beach Edition on PS5 only. Deluxe buyers who ordered before launch get the same skins plus 48 hours of early access.

Steam and Epic list only Rusted, on both editions, so a PC buyer gets one skin and a PS5 buyer gets two.

The disc is murkier. Konami’s products page says the early-purchase physical Standard is sold as the “Day One Edition”, and Amazon’s listing uses that name. Best Buy, Target, Walmart and GameStop list it simply as the PS5 version, and none of their pages mentions the CRTV bonus, so whether a US disc carries the skins as a code in the box is unconfirmed.

Konami has published no end date for the Standard early-purchase skin. After launch, check that the edition text still lists it before you pay.

What does the Deluxe Edition include?

The Deluxe Edition includes the full game, an in-game skin called Simon’s Outfit: Alternate, and a Bonus Application holding a Digital Artbook and a Digital Soundtrack. Preordering it also added the CRTV skins and 48 hours of early access. There is no Deluxe disc.

The artbook and soundtrack stay inside the app, and the stores say so: the Steam, PlayStation Store and Epic pages all state that the contents cannot be downloaded from the application in a selected format. The one exception comes from Konami, not any store. Its US products page says the soundtrack can be downloaded as MP3 or WAV from the Steam launcher; Steam’s own page does not say that.

Do not assume it is the full score. Konami’s European press release of 3 June 2026 calls the digital extras soundtrack samples alongside the artbook, and we could not confirm how much of Pilotpriest’s score the app holds. On PS5, the Bonus Application does not support cloud streaming.

Early access is the only part of Deluxe with a clock on it, and it ends when Standard unlocks. From 12:00 a.m. ET Thursday 24 September, the extra $10 buys the outfit and the app.

When does Silent Hill: Townfall unlock in the US?

Silent Hill: Townfall unlocks at the same moment on PS5, Steam and Epic nationwide: 12:00 a.m. ET Thursday 24 September 2026, which is 9:00 p.m. PT Wednesday 23 September. That time is Konami’s own: a Global Release Timings graphic it posted to Facebook on Tuesday 15 September lists New York at 12:00 a.m. and Los Angeles at 9:00 p.m. on 23 September, for all three stores.

The Central and Mountain rows are our conversions. All four are 04:00 UTC on 24 September, matching the release timestamps on the PlayStation Store’s US listing and on Steam.

The US is not a rolling local-midnight release. Konami’s graphic has PS5 unlocking at local midnight in London, Tokyo and Sydney. Some roundups have carried that over to the US, and the graphic contradicts them, as it does a 9 a.m. Pacific PC time that has also circulated. Steam shows the date as Sep 23 because it reads the moment in Pacific time; at 4:07 a.m. ET on Wednesday 23 September it said the game would unlock in approximately 19 hours.

Can you play Silent Hill: Townfall early?

Yes on Steam, with the Deluxe Edition: Steam’s Deluxe page reads “Advance Access On Now!”, and its earliest user review is timestamped 12:06 a.m. ET Tuesday 22 September, consistent with the store listings’ 12:00 a.m. ET start (9:00 p.m. PT Monday 21 September). On PS5 and Epic we could not confirm that US early access is live.

Konami has published no hour for early access. The PlayStation Store’s US Deluxe listing gives a release date of 22 September 2026, but at about 4:20 a.m. ET on Wednesday 23 September, more than 24 hours later, both the store and playstation.com still showed a Pre-Order button for Deluxe. We did not see PS5 early access working in the US, and we are not saying it is.

Epic’s Deluxe page, viewed from outside the US, showed Coming Soon, Available 09/24/26 and only a Wishlist button, although its text lists 48-hour Early Access. We could not check it from a US session.

Where can you buy Silent Hill: Townfall in the US?

Both editions are on the PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Standard PS5 disc is at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, GameStop and Amazon. There is no Deluxe disc and no physical PC version. Prices below are each store’s own US listing on Wednesday 23 September 2026.

Standard is a preorder everywhere until 12:00 a.m. ET Thursday and an ordinary purchase after; Deluxe on Steam already plays on purchase. This page does not carry deal-tracker or key-reseller prices; every figure is the retailer’s own.

A disc ordered on launch eve mostly arrives after launch. Best Buy and GameStop both say on or shortly after release day, and Target estimated Friday 25 to Wednesday 30 September. In-store pickup was unavailable at the Best Buy, Target and GameStop stores the sites defaulted to; that varies by store, so check yours before driving. A $69.99 Target price and a lower GameStop figure in some roundups are wrong: Target shows $49.99, and the GameStop number is its pre-owned price.

Is there a Silent Hill: Townfall SteelBook in the US?

No. The exclusive SteelBook is for early physical pre-purchases in Europe, the Middle East and Africa only, at Amazon UK, MicroMania, MediaMarkt, GAME Spain, Game Life and ZGames, per Konami’s European press release of 3 June 2026. Konami’s US materials mention no SteelBook and no retailer-exclusive physical bonus.

Is Silent Hill: Townfall coming to Xbox?

No Xbox or Switch 2 version has been announced. Konami’s US site and press release list PS5, Steam and Epic only. Outlets including PlayStation Universe reported trailer fine print on 21 August 2026 saying the game is not available on other consoles until at least six months after release; we have not checked that line in the trailer, and it is a restriction, not an announcement.

What should you do?

Pick by platform, and by which side of the unlock you are on.

• To play before Thursday, buy Deluxe on Steam, the one store where we saw early access running. On PS5 or Epic, check the button no longer says Pre-Order before paying for it.
• On PS5, buy digital if you want both skins. Beach Edition is PS5-only, and no US retailer page confirms the disc carries it.
• For a disc on launch night, check in-store pickup at your own store; the shipping estimates we saw land on or after release day.
• After the unlock, Deluxe’s extra $10 buys the outfit and an app whose extras stay inside it, apart from Konami’s Steam MP3 and WAV note. Confirm Standard still lists the CRTV skin before you pay.
• Do not wait for a US SteelBook or an Xbox version. Neither has been announced.
