Where to Buy Beats 360: Apple Ships Now, Every Other Store Starts 24 September
- 🔑 As of early Wednesday 23 September 2026, Apple is the only US retailer we checked selling Beats 360 as an in-stock item: all four colors at $349.99, marked to ship in one business day.
- Best Buy (all four colors, $349.99) and Walmart (Black and Cloud only, $349.00) are taking preorders for the Thursday 24 September release. Target has no preorder: in stores from 24 September, online from what it calls 11pm CST that night, which is midnight to 1 a.m. ET on Friday 25 September.
- 🔴 The $9.99 introductory price on Beats 360 Cushion Kits, normally $49.99, is documented only at apple.com, the Apple Store app and US Apple Store locations, from 22 September through 31 October 2026, three per customer. You can buy the headphones elsewhere and still order the kits from Apple.
- Amazon has Black and Cloud listings in several cushion-bundle combinations, but we could not see a price or confirm that it takes preorders, so this page prints neither.
- There is no USB-C cable or power adapter in the box, and reviewers report that Beats 360 has no wired listening at all.
- This page carries no price forecast and no resale or marketplace prices. Every figure is a retailer’s own listed price, and most of the statuses change on 24 September.
As of early Wednesday 23 September 2026, apple.com is the one US store we checked that sells Beats 360 as an in-stock item: all four colors at $349.99, marked to ship in one business day. Best Buy and Walmart are taking preorders for Thursday 24 September, Target has no preorder and starts selling that day, and Amazon has listings whose price we could not see. Only Apple offers the $9.99 introductory cushion kits.
Where can you buy Beats 360 right now?
Apple is selling Beats 360 now, Best Buy and Walmart are taking preorders, Target opens sales on Thursday 24 September, and Amazon’s price and status are unconfirmed. We read every row below from the retailer’s own page between about 4:00 and 4:40 a.m. ET (1:00 to 1:40 a.m. PT) on Wednesday 23 September 2026. Most of it changes on Thursday.

Beats announced the headphones on Tuesday 22 September 2026 and said they were available to order that day from apple.com, with in-store and on-shelf availability beginning 24 September. Beats’ own product page does not appear to sell directly. Its Add to Bag button hands off to apple.com.
Apple’s shipping line is a snapshot, not a promised delivery date. Apple’s delivery service gave no date for any specific ZIP code.
Which colors does each store carry?
Only Apple and Best Buy carry all four colors, which are Black, Cloud, Pink and Sky. Walmart and Amazon list only Black and Cloud, and Target has Black, Cloud and Pink with no Sky listing that we could find. Every color comes with matching Performance Knit ear and headband cushions.

If you want Pink or Sky this week, that means Apple or Best Buy. Apple’s part numbers are MJE14LL/A for Black, MJE34LL/A for Cloud, MJE64LL/A for Pink and MJE44LL/A for Sky. At Best Buy we saw two SKUs directly, 6397388 for Black and 6397390 for Sky; Cloud and Pink sit behind its color picker.
Amazon’s range is narrower than its long list of results suggests. The listings pair Black or Cloud headphones with different cushions, such as Black with Volt Performance Knit or Black with Black UltraPlush, plus a “Create a Bundle” listing. We saw no Pink or Sky headphones there.
When does Target start selling Beats 360?
Target sells Beats 360 in stores starting Thursday 24 September and online starting “Sep 24 at 11pm CST”, in Target’s own words. There is no preorder. The price on Target’s search results is $349.99, tagged New at Target.
That online time lands between midnight and 1 a.m. ET on Friday 25 September, which is 9 to 10 p.m. PT on Thursday. The one-hour spread exists because Target writes CST in late September, when Central time is actually on daylight saving, and we cannot tell which it means. If you plan to order from Target online, have the page open from about 10:45 p.m. Central on Thursday.
When we first checked, Target’s backend product data carried a different time. Its rendered search card and product page both say 11pm CST, and we go with the page.
Is Walmart cheaper than Apple?
By one dollar. Walmart lists Beats 360 at $349.00 on both of its listings, against the $349.99 that Beats, Apple, Best Buy and Target show, with a label reading Preorder Price Guarantee. It is a preorder for 24 September, sold and shipped by Walmart.com.
Walmart has only Black (item 20763163994) and Cloud (item 20724422483). Delivery depends on your ZIP code. For Walmart’s default Sacramento ZIP, 95829, both listings said Arrives tomorrow, which is release day. We did not read the terms of the price guarantee, so check them on Walmart’s page before you rely on it.
That dollar is the only price difference we found at any of the five stores. This page does not forecast whether any retailer will discount Beats 360 later.
Can you buy Beats 360 on Amazon?
Amazon has Beats 360 listings, first available on 22 September 2026, but we could not confirm a price or whether they take preorders. Our checking sessions were not set to a US delivery address, so Amazon returned a “cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location” message instead of a buy box. Anything we printed would be a guess.
The claim that Amazon takes preorders comes from MacRumors, whose deals post of 22 September carries an Amazon affiliate disclosure. It says the headphones can be preordered on Amazon ahead of Thursday’s launch, and gives no Amazon price for them. If you buy there, check the price, the color and the seller on the listing yourself.
How do you get the $9.99 cushion kits?
Buy them from Apple, at apple.com, in the Apple Store app or at a US Apple Store, between 22 September and 31 October 2026. That is the only place the $9.99 introductory price is documented. The kits are normally $49.99, the offer is limited to three per customer while supplies last, and Apple says the price goes back to $49.99 on 1 November 2026.
Each Beats 360 Cushion Kit includes both the earcup and the headband cushions, in two materials.

The kits are a separate purchase, so you can buy the headphones at Best Buy, Walmart or Target and still order kits from Apple. The two we checked, Black Performance Knit and Black UltraPlush, showed the same one-business-day shipping as the headphones.
MacRumors reported on 22 September that Amazon has the kits at $9.99 as well. The Beats press release and Apple’s own footnote name only Apple’s channels, and we could not see Amazon’s price, so this page does not print an Amazon kit price.
What’s in the box, and what’s missing?
The box holds the headphones with color-matched Performance Knit cushions, a woven ripstop fabric carrying case, a Quick Start Guide and documentation. There is no charging cable. Beats says the USB-C charging cable and power adapter are sold separately.
Reviewers also report no wired listening at all. There is no 3.5mm jack, and Engadget and 9to5Mac both say the USB-C port does not carry audio. Beats’ spec page lists USB-C only as the charging port. If you plan to plug into an airplane seat or a laptop, that matters.
What do you get for $349.99?
Beats claims up to 1.75 times the total noise cancellation of Beats Studio Pro, counting active and passive together and measured to the IEC 60268-24 standard. Beats 360 is also the first over-ear Beats model with a water-resistance rating, IPX4 for sweat and water.
- Battery: up to 32 hours with noise cancellation and Spatial Audio on, 24 hours in Transparency mode. Five minutes of Fast Fuel charging gives up to an hour.
- Hardware: a custom Beats chip, nine microphones and Class 1 Bluetooth 5.3, weighing 294.5 g (10.39 oz).
- Phones: Find My needs iOS 27 or later. Android gets Fast Pair and Find Hub.
Studio Pro stays on sale. Apple cut it to $299.99 at apple.com and Apple Store locations to coincide with the launch, and MacRumors reports that it had been $349.99 and that Beats 360 does not replace it. That $299.99 is Apple’s price, not a universal one. On the morning of 23 September, Target was listing Studio Pro at a regular $349.99 with sale prices from $159.99 to $169.99.
What should you do?
Pick the store by color and by when you want it. Every one of these statuses changes on Thursday 24 September, so re-check the page before you order.
- Pink or Sky: Apple or Best Buy. Apple ships in one business day. Best Buy’s preorder delivers on or after release day, with no store pickup for now.
- The $9.99 cushion kits: order from Apple by Saturday 31 October 2026, three at most. Buying the headphones somewhere else does not stop you.
- Saving a dollar: Walmart at $349.00, in Black or Cloud only.
- Buying in person: stores start stocking Beats 360 on Thursday 24 September. Target has no preorder, so its shelves and its late-night online launch are the way in.
- Amazon: read the price and the seller from your own US address before you commit.
- A cable: have a USB-C cable ready, because none comes in the box.

How we verified this
Every price, color and status in the retailer tables was read from the retailer’s own page between about 4:00 and 4:40 a.m. ET on Wednesday 23 September 2026, and all but two items were read a second time by a skeptical re-check. The two exceptions, Target’s color list and Best Buy’s Cloud and Pink SKUs, are flagged below. Launch facts come from the Beats press release dated Culver City, 22 September 2026, and from the Beats and Apple product pages. Apple’s shipping line comes from Apple’s own delivery-message service, which returned “Ships: 1 business day” and free Standard Delivery within five days after shipping for all four colors and for the two cushion kits we checked. It returned no delivery date for any particular ZIP code, so none is given here.
🔴 The Target launch time on this page was corrected against target.com’s own rendered pages, and the correction reversed our first draft. The research pass had taken Target’s online start time from Target’s backend product data, because target.com had been behind a bot check. The re-check found that the search results and the Black product page (A-1012731399) both loaded before the bot check appeared, and both say “In stores starting Sep 24” and “Online starting Sep 24 at 11pm CST”, with no preorder button or wording. The time in the backend data did not match. Where a retailer’s rendered page and its data feed disagree, the page wins. ⚠️ Target writes CST in late September, when Central time is on daylight saving, so we give the conversion as a one-hour window rather than guess which one Target means.
Walmart’s $349.00 price was confirmed twice, on both of its listings. Black (item 20763163994) and Cloud (item 20724422483) each showed Preorder, release date Sep 24, the $349.00 price, a Preorder Price Guarantee label, and Sold and shipped by Walmart.com. Walmart search returned no other colors. The “Arrives tomorrow” line is for Walmart’s default ZIP, 95829 in Sacramento. We did not read the terms of the price guarantee.
Best Buy matched on both reads, with one gap. SKU 6397390 (Sky) showed $349.99, Pre-order, Release Date 09/24/2026, Sold by Best Buy, pickup Unavailable, and delivery on or shortly after release date. SKU 6397388 (Black) showed the same preorder and release date. ⚠️ We never saw the Cloud and Pink SKUs directly. The four-color count comes from Best Buy’s own color picker, which reads “Sky + 3 more”.
⚠️ Target’s color list rests on a single source. Black, Cloud and Pink listings came from Target’s own product data during the first pass; we found no Sky listing. Target’s data feed then started refusing requests, so the color list was not re-read from the rendered page.
⚠️ Amazon could not be checked properly, and this page does not fill the gap with guesses. Both verification sessions were located outside the US, so Amazon showed “This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location” instead of a price. We did not change the delivery ZIP, because that means submitting a form on the site. The listings are real and give 22 September 2026 as the date first available. The re-check narrowed our first draft’s color claim: the search results showed only Black and Cloud headphones, sold in cushion-bundle combinations. The only source saying Amazon takes preorders is a MacRumors deals post of 22 September that carries an Amazon affiliate disclosure.
🔴 The $9.99 cushion-kit offer is described as Apple-only because that is what both primary sources say. The Beats press release, footnote 4, limits it to apple.com, the Apple Store app and Apple Store locations in select markets, while supplies last, three per customer. Apple’s product-page footnote names apple.com, the Apple Store app and US Apple Retail stores, and adds that the price rises to $49.99 from 1 November 2026. MacRumors reported that Amazon has the kits at the same price. That conflict is unresolved, and we could not see an Amazon price, so no Amazon kit price is printed.
Two smaller corrections from the re-check are reflected in the text. That Beats 360 is not a replacement for Studio Pro is MacRumors’ reporting; the Beats press release only announces the Studio Pro price cut, which it says applies at apple.com and Apple Store locations. The $299.99 price is therefore given as Apple’s, not as a price everywhere, and Target’s different Studio Pro price, read by the re-check, is printed beside it. MacRumors’ launch story also said ordering opened at third-party retailers on 22 September; Beats named only apple.com, so third-party preorders are credited to the Best Buy and Walmart pages themselves.
⚠️ The no-wired-listening point comes from reviewers, not from Beats. Engadget and 9to5Mac both report that Beats 360 has no 3.5mm jack and that its USB-C port does not carry audio. Beats’ spec page lists USB-C only as the charging port and says nothing about wired audio either way.
