Where to Buy the Air Jordan 13 'Gold Glitter' in the US and UK
- It was never made in adult sizes. The Gold Glitter released only as grade school, preschool and toddler — style codes DC9443-007, DC9444-007 and DC9442-007. Grade school is the ceiling, so if your foot is past a big-kids size there is no version of this shoe to buy at any price.
- It is a 2020 shoe, so there is no retail option left. It released on 19 December 2020 at $140 for the grade school pair, and the only route now is the resale market.
- On StockX the cheapest size asks $198 against a $140 retail, the last sale was $224, and the scarcest size asks $744. The lowest and highest are different sizes, not the same pair.
- Four marketplaces list it: StockX, GOAT, Flight Club and Stadium Goods. All four are authentication-based resale platforms rather than shops with stock.
- UK buyers should budget past the sticker. Anything over £135 attracts customs duty as well as VAT, and gov.uk is explicit that VAT is charged on the duty too, plus postage and insurance.
Before anything about where to buy it: the Air Jordan 13 “Gold Glitter” does not come in adult sizes, and it never did. That is the fact that decides whether the rest of this article is useful to you.
It released in December 2020 in children’s sizing only, it has been out of production ever since, and everything on sale today is somebody’s old pair.
What exactly is the Air Jordan 13 “Gold Glitter”?
A black and metallic gold Jordan 13 from the end of 2020, made only for kids.
The colourway is officially Black/Metallic Gold, and the gold glitter that gives it the nickname runs through the collar and through the translucent rubber of the outsole. It arrived on 19 December 2020 across three children’s size runs, each with its own style code:

Does it come in men’s or women’s sizes?
No. Grade school is the ceiling, and there is no workaround.
This is worth being blunt about because a lot of “where to buy” advice skates over it. Jordan Brand did not produce a men’s run of this colourway, and it did not produce a women’s run either. The largest pair that exists is a big-kids size.
Some adults with smaller feet do wear grade school Jordans — GS sizing runs up to a US 7Y, which is commonly cross-referenced to a women’s 8.5. If you are past that, this colourway is not available to you in any size, at any price, from any seller. No amount of searching changes that, and any listing claiming a men’s Gold Glitter 13 should be treated as a reason to walk away.
Where can I buy it in the US?
On the resale market, and nowhere else. Retail sold through in 2020.
Four authentication-based marketplaces list it, and we opened each one:
- StockX — listed as Jordan 13 Retro Black Metallic Gold (GS), DC9443-007, with live bids and asks.
- GOAT — listed as Air Jordan Retro 13 GS “Gold Glitter”, same style code.
- Flight Club — consignment, so what is listed is what is physically in their hands.
- Stadium Goods — also consignment, with the December 2020 release date on the product page.
The distinction between the two models matters more than it looks. StockX and GOAT are marketplaces where sellers list against a size, so the price you see is an ask that moves. Flight Club and Stadium Goods hold the actual pairs on consignment, so their availability is whatever has been sent in.
What does it cost now?
Between about $200 and the high hundreds, depending entirely on size.

Read that ladder carefully, because it is easy to misread. The lowest and the highest asks are different sizes, not the same pair. A discontinued grade school run prices very unevenly: the sizes that ordinary families actually bought and wore out are the scarce ones, and the sizes that sat on shelves are the cheap ones.
The premium over retail on the cheapest size is about 41%, which for a six-year-old out-of-production Jordan is unremarkable. This is not a grail; it is a shoe that is simply finished.
Where can I buy it in the UK?
The same four platforms, all of which sell internationally — but the price on screen is not the price you pay.
There is no UK retailer stocking a 2020 kids’ Jordan, and there will not be one. British buyers use the same marketplaces as everyone else, and the shoe is imported.
That is where the real cost sits, and the rules are worth knowing before you click:
- Anything over £135 attracts customs duty. Gov.uk is explicit: you will be charged Customs Duty on goods sent from outside the UK if they are worth more than £135. At current asks, this shoe clears that line comfortably.
- VAT is charged on top, and it is charged on more than the shoe. According to gov.uk, when VAT is collected by the delivery company it applies to “the total package value, including: the value of the goods, postage, packaging and insurance, any duty you owe”. You pay VAT on the duty.
- The delivery company collects it, and bills you for it. Gov.uk’s wording is that they “will send you a bill stating exactly which fees you need to pay”, and the parcel is held until it is settled.
The practical consequence is that the dollar figure on the listing is a floor, not the price. Work out the landed cost before you commit, rather than at the door when the courier asks for payment.
How do I avoid buying a fake?
Buy through a platform that authenticates, and be suspicious of a size that should not exist.
All four marketplaces above authenticate before the shoe reaches you, which is the main reason to use them rather than a private sale for a discontinued shoe. Two further checks specific to this release:
- The style code should match the size run. DC9443-007 is grade school, DC9444-007 preschool, DC9442-007 toddler. A listing that pairs an adult size with any of those codes is describing something that was never made.
- Treat “men’s Gold Glitter 13” listings as a warning. It is the single clearest tell, because the product does not exist.
Is it coming back in 2026?
Not according to the release calendar.
Jordan Brand has a busy Air Jordan 13 year — Flint, Chicago, Wolf Grey, Midnight Navy, Dune Red, White Wheat, Purple Venom and more are on the 2026 schedule. Gold Glitter is not among them. Nothing rules out a future retro, but there is no announced return, and buying on the assumption that a re-release will arrive before Christmas is not supported by anything currently published.

How we verified this
Every figure here was read on the platform’s own page, in a browser. StockX, Flight Club and GOAT all return errors to plain fetching, so each product page was opened and read directly. The StockX numbers come from its product detail block (retail $140, release 12/19/2020, last sale $224) and from the page’s own structured data (lowest ask 198, highest ask 744, USD).
A widely circulating pair of resale figures does not match the page. A search summary gives “$180 against a $190 last sale”. Neither number appears on StockX’s page for DC9443-007, which shows $198 and $224. We use what the page says.
Two sources disagree on the release date by one day. StockX gives 12/19/2020 and GOAT gives 12-20-2020. House of Heat, SneakerFiles and Stadium Goods all say 19 December 2020, so that is the date used here.
We could not verify a sterling price. These marketplaces show prices in the currency of wherever you are browsing from, and our session could not be placed in the UK — a request for the UK version of the StockX page returned the US one. Rather than convert dollars ourselves and present the result as a UK price, this article gives the dollar figures as read and sets out the import rules separately, from gov.uk.
Resale prices are the most perishable thing on this page. They move by size and by week. The style codes, the size run, the release date and the retail prices do not move, and those are what the article leads on.
We do not say the shoe is sold out anywhere, or that any particular size is available. Marketplace inventory is a live figure we cannot responsibly freeze in an article. What we can say is which platforms list the shoe at all, and we checked each one.
