Where to Buy aespa Light Sticks: 2026 Prices and Shipping

The official aespa light stick is the OFFICIAL FANLIGHT ver.2, and on Tuesday 22 September 2026 Weverse Shop quotes a US buyer $33.62 for it, excluding tax — not the $36.98 this page carried in August. US specialist shops still list it at $58.99, but Music Plaza has sold out and SM’s own store has been out for five weeks. And the cheap official route has a door closing: Weverse’s holiday order cutoff falls at 10pm US Eastern on Tuesday 22 September, with nothing dispatching again until the 28th.

Has the aespa light stick price changed?

The price Weverse quotes has not changed; the price this page printed was wrong. Weverse Shop quotes a US buyer $33.62 for the OFFICIAL FANLIGHT ver.2, excluding tax, with duties and taxes added at checkout. The $36.98 published here on 18 August 2026 is the tax-inclusive figure the store carries in its data for the Korean domestic list price of ₩47,000. It is not what the US storefront shows.

The correction runs the opposite way to the usual one: it widens the distance to US retailers by $3.36 rather than closing it. Whether the storefront ever displayed $36.98 could not be established — the Internet Archive was offline when this was checked — so this page says its own figure was wrong rather than claiming Weverse moved.

What Weverse will not tell you before checkout is the total. Taxes and customs duties are displayed at checkout, and the shipping fee to a US address appears nowhere on the product page. Treat $33.62 as the quote, not the bill.

What is aespa’s official light stick called?

It is the aespa OFFICIAL FANLIGHT, made for SM Entertainment by FANLIGHT CO.,Ltd. Two generations are in circulation and ver.2 is the current one — there is no ver.3 and no announcement of one.

The photocard count is the cleanest way to tell the generations apart on a listing. SMTOWN’s ver.1 listing says “1 Photo Card” and gives a body of 94 x 94 x 257 mm — a different shape, a different bundle, a different product. Retailers use “light stick”, “lightstick” and “fanlight” interchangeably, which is why the same object returns under three names.

Weverse also sells smaller companion items that are easy to mistake for the real thing while price-scanning. This page had two of them the wrong way round, and the correction matters because one is now sold out.

Those five figures are the tax-inclusive values from the store’s data and will show roughly 10% lower on the storefront. The old rule of thumb still holds — under $20 is a keyring, an emblem or a phone grip, not a light stick — with the ver.1 listing at $33.84 the one genuine fanlight on that shelf, and it is sold out.

Where can you buy it, and what does it cost?

Six listings, all re-checked on 22 September 2026. Two are sold out, one is a different generation, and one contradicts itself — which leaves fewer real options than the price spread suggests.

Two of those moved since August. Music Plaza, previously the top of the US band, has gone out of stock. KPOPMART has come off preorder at the same $38.10, though its page still carries an estimated release date of 31 December 2025 and calls the four photocards a first-press preorder benefit, which is not the language of a shelf-ready item.

The SMTOWN listing was described here as the cheapest way to get the same light stick, and that was a mistake. It is the older generation with one photocard. The honest comparison is Weverse’s $33.62 ver.2 against the US shops’ $58.99: cheaper, slower, and you handle the customs step, against dearer, faster, and someone else already did.

When is the Weverse holiday order cutoff?

Weverse Global stops dispatching over Chuseok, and for a non-Korean address the cutoff is 11:00 KST on 23 September 2026 — which is 10pm US Eastern, 7pm Pacific, on Tuesday 22 September. Express delivery resumes on 28 September.

The notice is explicit about both sides of it: orders placed by the cutoff ship out, and orders placed after it “will be shipped out sequentially starting September 28, 2026”. The separate cutoff for Korean addresses was 11:00 KST on 22 September and has already gone.

Put that next to the remaining tour dates and the arithmetic is unforgiving. An order placed after Tuesday evening Eastern does not leave Korea until 28 September — after Atlanta on the 24th, after Miami on the 26th, and, allowing for any international transit at all, after Dallas on the 29th. For every remaining September date, the cheap official route is shut.

Is there a tour-edition aespa light stick?

No. The official merchandise line for the 2026-27 tour contains a fanlight case, not a fanlight — an accessory for the light stick you already own — and all three case items are sold out.

The pre-order opened at 3pm KST on Thursday 6 August 2026 and ran until sold out. Of the twenty items in the line, sixteen are gone; what is left is a random trading card at $4.29, a lucky charm at $7.15, a character clip at $10.73 and a magnet doll at $27.18.

The date that closes this off is the shipping date, not the stock. The whole tour line ships from Wednesday 4 November 2026, twenty-four days after the North American leg finishes in Vancouver. Even if the cases came back, nothing from that collection reaches a US address in time for a North American show.

Will it arrive before the remaining tour dates?

The tour is mid-run, not upcoming, and seven of the ten North American dates are left. Hamilton on 15 September and Belmont Park on 18 September have been played, and Washington DC at Capital One Arena falls on 22 September, the day of this update.

No date has been added, cancelled or moved since the promoter’s announcement of 27 April 2026. For a September date, a domestic order is the only route that does not require anything to go right, and with Music Plaza out that means the two shops at $58.99. For October the Korean route is arguable again from 28 September, with the caveat that neither Weverse’s shipping fee nor its delivery estimate is published before checkout.

What changed for US buyers in 2025?

The $800 duty-free allowance on low-value parcels is gone. From 12:01 a.m. on 29 August 2025, goods from every country lost that exemption under Executive Order 14324.

Most K-pop merch advice still in circulation was written when a $34 parcel from Korea sailed through untouched. Two rules published on 24 June 2026 carried the suspension forward: one for non-postal modes, effective that day, and one for international mail, effective 24 July 2026. Nothing has been published since.

One detail this page did not previously carry: the fanlight is manufactured in China, and origin rather than dispatch country sets the rate. That affects how much, not whether — since the all-country suspension a Korea-dispatched parcel is in scope either way. Treat the Korean listing price as a floor, not a total.

What about Canadian buyers?

Canada’s split is sharper than America’s and points the opposite way to the obvious answer: buying from a US shop is the duty-friendly route.

A $33.62 fanlight from Weverse is comfortably over CAD 20 once converted, so a Korea-dispatch parcel is in scope for duty and tax on arrival. A $58.99 fanlight couriered from a US retailer sits under the CAD 150 duty threshold — over the CAD 40 tax line, so expect GST or HST, but not customs duty. The thresholds come from CBSA Memorandum D8-2-16, last revised 15 November 2024, and are unchanged.

How do you know you are buying the official one?

Buy from Weverse Shop or SMTOWN &STORE and the question does not arise. Everywhere else, the check is what the listing says is in the box.

• The ver.2 bundle is fixed: fanlight, strap, manual and four photocards. A listing offering one photocard is describing ver.1, which is a real product but an older one.
• Know the real price band. Official channels sit in the thirties before shipping; established US retailers sit around $59 to $65 landed. A “light stick” well under $20 is a keyring, an emblem or a phone grip.
• Battery wording tells you nothing about origin or authenticity. Every official channel says the AAA cells are not included — Weverse in its spec sheet, SMTOWN in its description, KPOPMART as “Battery is not provided due to custom issue.” This page previously read that phrasing as a Korea-dispatch tell. It is not one.
• Be wary of listings that argue with themselves. Two of the six here say in stock in their data and preorder in their visible text. That is usually stale copy rather than deception, but read the shipping terms before paying.

What to do now

• Buying from Weverse for an October date: you have until 10pm Eastern on Tuesday 22 September, or you wait for dispatch to resume on 28 September. Budget above $33.62 for shipping and duty.
• Buying for Atlanta, Miami or Dallas: the Korean route will not make it. Choice Music LA at $58.99 is the cleanest domestic listing; Kpop USA matches the price but its page is ambiguous.
• Looking for a tour light stick: there isn’t one. Do not buy the fanlight case expecting a fanlight, and note that nothing in the tour line ships before 4 November.
• Wanting the SMTOWN price: that listing is ver.1 and is sold out. Do not treat $31.85 as the going rate for the current generation.
• In Canada: a US courier parcel is duty-free to CAD 150, a Korean one only to CAD 20. That usually beats the sticker-price logic.
