  • The next episode is Monday 19 October 2026 on NBC. It runs two hours and NBC says it continues the Battles. Episodes stream on Peacock the next day.

Kayleigh Mathews chose Team Riley, Kelly Clarkson used her Steal on Marcus Ladden Jr., and five artists went home on Night 2 of The Voice Season 30 Battles, which aired on NBC on Tuesday 13 October 2026 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. Six Battles aired, and the winners were BigCountry and Chari for Team Queen, Anna McElroy and Nina Howland for Team Kelly, Keiyana Osmond for Team Riley and Evan James for Team Adam. Luke Cope, Johnnie Kapua, Brendan Coulter, Luke Curran and Hazel Gerson were eliminated.

We last checked our sources at 03:20 UTC on Wednesday 14 October 2026, which was 11:20 p.m. ET on Tuesday, about 80 minutes after the episode ended. This page covers all 13 Battles that have aired, from 6 to 13 October.

Who won each Battle on The Voice Season 30 Night 2?

BigCountry, Anna McElroy, Keiyana Osmond, Evan James, Nina Howland and Chari won the six Battles on Tuesday 13 October. Every result below appears in NBC’s guide or in at least two independent recaps. When we checked at 03:20 UTC on 14 October, NBC’s Battles guide had not yet added Tuesday’s episode. The Night 2 results therefore rest on recaps from different publishers that agree with each other.

  • Team Queen: BigCountry vs. Luke Cope on “Tennessee Whiskey” (Chris Stapleton). BigCountry won and Luke Cope went home.
  • Team Kelly: Anna McElroy vs. Johnnie Kapua on “Some Things I’ll Never Know” (Teddy Swims featuring Maren Morris). Anna McElroy won and Johnnie Kapua went home.
  • Team Riley: Keiyana Osmond vs. Brendan Coulter on “She Will Be Loved” (Maroon 5, the band Adam Levine fronts). Keiyana Osmond won and Brendan Coulter went home.
  • Team Adam: Evan James vs. Luke Curran on “Wind Up Missin’ You” (Tucker Wetmore). Evan James won and Luke Curran went home.
  • Team Kelly: Nina Howland vs. Hazel Gerson on “Breathe Me” (Sia). Nina Howland won and Hazel Gerson went home.
  • Team Queen: Chari vs. Marcus Ladden Jr. on “On My Own” (Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald), a duet first recorded by Team Queen’s own Battle Advisor. Chari won, and Kelly Clarkson stole Marcus Ladden Jr.

Recaps list these Battles in different orders, so the list above makes no claim about the running order.

Which team did Kayleigh Mathews choose?

Kayleigh Mathews chose Team Riley over Team Kelly. She lost the last Battle of the 12 October premiere to Lillie Kolich on Team Queen, singing “Girl Crush” (Little Big Town). Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green both pressed their Steal buttons for her. Monday’s episode ended before she picked, and Tuesday’s episode opened with her joining Riley Green.

NBC spells her surname “Mathews” in its headlines and “Matthews” in some photo captions. Most recaps use “Mathews”, so that is the spelling on this page.

Who went home on The Voice Battles Part 2?

Five artists went home on Tuesday 13 October: Luke Cope, Johnnie Kapua, Brendan Coulter, Luke Curran and Hazel Gerson. By team:

  • Team Queen: Luke Cope
  • Team Kelly: Johnnie Kapua and Hazel Gerson
  • Team Riley: Brendan Coulter
  • Team Adam: Luke Curran

Marcus Ladden Jr. also lost his Battle, but he stays in the competition after Kelly Clarkson’s Steal moved him to Team Kelly.

Which coaches have used their Steal?

Riley Green and Kelly Clarkson have used their Steals, and Queen Latifah and Adam Levine have not. NBC says each coach has one Steal in the Battles, and its guide describes no Save. A losing artist goes home unless another coach steals them.

  • Riley Green: Kayleigh Mathews, from Team Queen. He pressed for her on 12 October, and she chose him on 13 October.
  • Kelly Clarkson: Marcus Ladden Jr., from Team Queen, on 13 October. Kelly had also pressed for Mathews. Mathews chose Riley, so Kelly kept her Steal and used it later the same night.

Both Steals so far have taken artists from Team Queen.

What are the results of every Battle so far?

Thirteen Battles have aired: one at the end of the 6 October Blind Auditions episode, six in the 12 October Battles Premiere and six on 13 October. Here they are by team, winner first, with the date each aired.

Team Riley: four Battles

  • 6 October: Ferryn & Brinkley beat Brandy Neelly on “Mama’s Broken Heart” (Miranda Lambert). Neelly went home.
  • 12 October: Joe Henley beat Kenna Elpers on “Don’t Mind If I Do” (Riley Green featuring Ella Langley). Elpers went home.
  • 12 October: Everett Bounds beat Caroline Alexis on “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” (Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn). Alexis went home.
  • 13 October: Keiyana Osmond beat Brendan Coulter on “She Will Be Loved”. Coulter went home.
  • Steal: Kayleigh Mathews, from Team Queen.

Team Queen: four Battles

  • 12 October: Alt Bloom beat Morgan Lett on “Ex-Factor” (Lauryn Hill). Lett went home.
  • 12 October: Lillie Kolich beat Kayleigh Mathews on “Girl Crush”. Riley Green stole Mathews.
  • 13 October: BigCountry beat Luke Cope on “Tennessee Whiskey”. Cope went home.
  • 13 October: Chari beat Marcus Ladden Jr. on “On My Own”. Kelly Clarkson stole Ladden Jr.

Team Kelly: three Battles

  • 12 October: Koumba Diallo beat Lance Tenazas on “Birds of a Feather” (Billie Eilish). Tenazas went home.
  • 13 October: Anna McElroy beat Johnnie Kapua on “Some Things I’ll Never Know”. Kapua went home.
  • 13 October: Nina Howland beat Hazel Gerson on “Breathe Me”. Gerson went home.
  • Steal: Marcus Ladden Jr., from Team Queen.

Team Adam: two Battles

  • 12 October: Connor Closs beat Cal Cook on “Homewrecker” (sombr). Cook went home.
  • 13 October: Evan James beat Luke Curran on “Wind Up Missin’ You”. Curran went home.

NBC’s own pages sometimes spell Joe Henley as “Henly”. Most sources use “Henley”, and so do we.

How many artists are left on each team?

By our count, 37 artists are still in the competition after 13 Battles: 15 who have won a Battle or been stolen, and 22 who have not sung their Battle yet. NBC has not published a running count. These figures are our own arithmetic from the confirmed results above and NBC’s statement that each coach had 12 artists going into the Battles. In the table, “Through” counts Battle winners plus any stolen artist. “Still to go” counts artists on that team who have not had their Battle yet.

TeamThroughStill to go
Riley54
Queen44
Kelly46
Adam28

Eleven artists have gone home so far. If every remaining Battle is a pair, 11 Battles are left: four for Team Adam, three for Team Kelly and two each for Team Riley and Team Queen. NBC says each coach leaves the Battles with seven artists, which is half of the 12 plus one Steal.

Who are the Battle Advisors for The Voice Season 30?

The Season 30 Battle Advisors are Patti LaBelle for Team Queen, Carly Pearce for Team Riley, Alex Warren for Team Adam and Ariana DeBose for Team Kelly. NBC’s Battle Advisors page, dated 7 October 2026, lists the pairings. Each advisor works with one coach’s team as the artists prepare their Battle songs.

What happens after the Battles?

Cut Week comes after the Battles: each coach takes three of their seven artists into the Live Shows for a Top 12, and America’s vote then adds one more artist for a Top 13. NBC describes the format like this:

  • Each coach sends two artists straight through to the Live Shows.
  • The other five on each team compete for that team’s one remaining spot, which gives a Top 12.
  • America then votes one more artist into the Lives, for a Top 13.

NBC’s Cut Week explainer, dated 13 October 2026, lists Cut Week as a two-hour episode on Monday 2 November at 9 p.m. ET. That is an hour later than the Battles’ 8 p.m. start, so check NBC’s listing that week.

How can I watch The Voice Season 30 Battles?

NBC lists Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET as The Voice’s regular slot this October, and each new episode streams on Peacock the next day. This week also had a Tuesday episode: the Battles aired on Monday 12 October and Tuesday 13 October, and Tuesday’s ran two hours. NBC’s next listed episode is Monday 19 October, and NBC lists Cut Week on Monday 2 November at 9 p.m. ET. NBC gives its air times in Eastern Time only, so check your local listings in other time zones. Missed Tuesday’s episode? NBC says new episodes stream on Peacock the next day, so it is due there on Wednesday 14 October.

When is the next episode of The Voice?

The next episode airs on Monday 19 October 2026 on NBC: a two-hour episode that NBC says continues the Battles. NBC lists the show’s regular Monday slot as 8 p.m. ET, and the episode streams on Peacock the next day. In the NBC pages we read on 14 October, NBC had not said whether another Battles episode airs between 19 October and Cut Week on 2 November.
