Reese's Reindeer Mix: What's Inside, Price & Where to Buy

- Reese’s Reindeer Mix is a 7 oz bag of chocolate drizzled popcorn, mini Reese’s Trees, Reese’s Pieces and Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips, made by The Hershey Company.
- ⚠️ Hersheyland’s allergen line reads “Contains: Milk, Peanuts, Soy.” Hershey tells shoppers to check each package for current ingredients and allergens, and its page makes no gluten-free claim.
- ⚠️ Hershey gives no list price in its release or on Hersheyland and leaves pricing to retailers. Prices read Nov. 6, 2026: Walmart $5.56 through Instacart, Target $5.99 on Target.com and CVS $8.59 through Instacart. Prices vary by store.
- Target calls it Reese’s Reindeer Holiday Mix. It appears to be the same item, because the barcode number matches Hersheyland’s and the size and components are the same.
- Nov. 5 was the announcement, not a launch: the mix was spotted in online listings by September. Hershey says it is available for a limited time during the holiday season and gives no end date.
Reese’s Reindeer Mix is a 7 oz holiday snack mix from Hershey, made of chocolate drizzled popcorn, mini Reese’s Trees, Reese’s Pieces and Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips. It contains peanuts, milk and soy. Hershey gives no list price in its release or on Hersheyland. At about 6:30 a.m. ET on Nov. 6, 2026, we read $5.56 for Walmart through Instacart, $5.99 on Target.com and $8.59 for CVS through Instacart.
What’s inside Reese’s Reindeer Mix?
The bag holds four components: popcorn and three Reese’s items. Hersheyland, Hershey’s consumer site, lists them this way:
- Chocolate drizzled popcorn
- Mini Reese’s Trees
- Reese’s Pieces
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips
Hershey’s press release describes the popcorn as milk chocolate-drizzled and calls the chips “Reese’s baking chips”. It also calls the product a sweet-and-salty mix in a resealable pouch, and names it among its holiday baking options, noting that it features Reese’s baking chips.
The ingredient list on Hersheyland starts with sugar, corn syrup, vegetable oil, peanuts, partially defatted peanuts, hydrogenated vegetable oil, popcorn and lactose (milk). Further down, it lists artificial colors including Yellow 6 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake, Red 40 Lake and Blue 1 Lake.
Does Reese’s Reindeer Mix contain peanuts, milk or soy?
Yes, it contains all three: Hersheyland’s allergen line reads “Contains: Milk, Peanuts, Soy”. Target’s listing gives the same three allergens.
- Check the pack: Hershey tells shoppers to refer to each package for current ingredients and allergen statements. Treat the bag in your hand as the final word, not this page.
- Gluten: Hersheyland’s page makes no gluten-free claim, and we make none here.
- Kosher: Hersheyland shows an OU-D mark, and Target’s listing calls the mix certified kosher.
- Young children: Target’s listing carries a warning that small candy and popcorn can be a choking hazard, and says the mix is not recommended for children under 4. We did not see that warning in Hersheyland’s text, so look for it on the pack, especially if you plan to use the mix as a stocking stuffer.
Are Reese’s Reindeer Mix and Reese’s Reindeer Holiday Mix the same product?
They appear to be the same 7 oz item sold under slightly different names. Neither Hershey page we read addresses the naming, so this is our reading of the evidence.
- Reese’s Reindeer Mix is the name in Hershey’s press release.
- Reese’s Reindeer Mix Snack Mix is the name on Hersheyland.
- Reese’s Reindeer Holiday Mix is the name on Target.com.
- Reese’s Reindeer Mix Assorted, Christmas Snack Mix Bag, 7 oz is the name on Instacart’s Walmart and CVS listings, so search for that wording at those stores.
Three details point to one product. Hersheyland’s product code (00034000467679) and Target’s barcode (034000467679) have the same digits apart from leading zeros. Target’s product bullets call it “REESE’S Reindeer Mix Assorted Christmas Snack Mix”, nearly the same wording as the Instacart name. The size and the four components also match.
How much does Reese’s Reindeer Mix cost?
Hershey gives no list price in its release or on Hersheyland and says pricing is at the retailer’s sole discretion, so the numbers we have are store prices. The table shows what we read on Nov. 6, 2026, at about 6:30 a.m. ET, and the last column shows where each price came from. All three are for the 7 oz bag, and we entered no ZIP code.
| Retailer | Price | Read via |
|---|---|---|
| Walmart | $5.56 | Instacart |
| Target | $5.99 | Target.com |
| CVS | $8.59 | Instacart |
Prices vary by store, and Instacart prices can differ from what you would pay in person.
Instacart’s CVS listing also carried a “Buy 1, get 1 for $1” tag and a “See eligible items” note. If that offer applies to your Instacart order, two bags come to $9.59, compared with $11.12 for two at the Walmart figure. Both totals are before tax and any Instacart fees.
Where can you buy Reese’s Reindeer Mix?
We found listings for Target, Walmart, CVS and Acme, and Hershey says only “participating retailers nationwide”. Hershey names no retailers in its release, so this list reflects only the listings we could find on Nov. 6, 2026.
- Target: Sold as Reese’s Reindeer Holiday Mix. Target’s product page showed In Stock. Its search-results listing showed a SNAP EBT eligible note and a shipping estimate of Wed., Nov. 11. Both carried a “New at” tag.
- Walmart: Listed on Instacart’s Walmart page. We could not confirm stock on Walmart’s own site.
- CVS: Listed on Instacart’s CVS page. CVS’s own site was not readable for us, so we cannot confirm the price or stock in stores.
- Acme Markets: A listing for the 7 oz bag appears in search results, but the page would not load for us, so we have no price.
We could not confirm Kroger, Amazon, Walgreens, Sam’s Club or Hershey’s online store either way. That doesn’t mean they don’t carry it, only that we couldn’t check. The 7 oz bag is the only size we found.
When did Reese’s Reindeer Mix come out, and how long will it last?
Hershey announced it on Nov. 5, 2026, with no on-shelf or end date, and the mix was already listed online by September. Sporked reported on Sept. 15 that it had begun showing up in online listings, citing an Instagram account, and said it could not yet be bought at that point.
Hershey’s release lists the mix among its new holiday items. It says holiday products will be available for a limited time at participating retailers nationwide throughout the holiday season. It gives no end date and says nothing about whether the mix will return in future years.
How many calories are in Reese’s Reindeer Mix?
A 1/3 cup (28 g) serving has 140 calories, and the bag holds about 7 servings. These figures come from Hersheyland, and the table gives the amount for one serving.
| Nutrient | Per 1/3 cup |
|---|---|
| Calories | 140 |
| Total fat | 6 g |
| Saturated fat | 4 g |
| Sodium | 90 mg |
| Carbohydrate | 19 g |
| Total sugars | 15 g |
| Added sugars | 14 g |
| Protein | 2 g |
What could you mistake Reese’s Reindeer Mix for?
Several similar items appear in online listings and search results, so go by the full name and the listed contents. These are different products:
- Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Popped Snack Mix: Also a Reese’s popcorn snack mix; the listing we saw is an 8 oz bag.
- Reese’s Mini Trees and Tiny Trees: Mini Trees are sold on their own and are also one of the components of this mix. Target lists a 7 oz Reese’s Tiny Trees pouch, so size alone will not tell it apart from the mix.
- Reese’s Pieces in reindeer packaging: Holiday candy in a seasonal bag, not a mix.
- Kit Kat Santa & Reindeer: Listed in the same Hershey lineup, it adds a reindeer shape to Kit Kat’s Santa, but it is a Kit Kat product.
- Great Value Holiday Reindeer Trail Mix: A 13 oz Walmart store-brand mix.
- Homemade “reindeer mix” or “reindeer chow”: A recipe name, not this packaged product.

How we verified this
The contents, allergens, ingredients and nutrition come from Hersheyland’s product page, read Nov. 6, 2026. Hershey’s Nov. 5 release, dated 10:00 a.m. ET, describes the same components but calls the chips “Reese’s baking chips”. Hersheyland calls them Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips, and we use that wording. Some press write-ups describe the mix differently, including one that mentions cookie treats and another that leaves out the Mini Trees. We ignored those and used Hershey’s own text.
The statement that the names all refer to one product is our inference, and we label it that way. Hersheyland’s page data gives product code 00034000467679 and Target’s page data shows barcode 034000467679, the same digits apart from leading zeros. Target’s product bullets also call it “REESE’S Reindeer Mix Assorted Christmas Snack Mix”, which is close to the “Reese’s Reindeer Mix Assorted, Christmas Snack Mix Bag, 7 oz” name on Instacart’s Walmart and CVS tiles, and the 7 oz size and components match. Neither Hershey page we read addresses the Target name.
Prices were read between about 11:25 and 11:33 UTC (about 6:25 to 6:33 a.m. ET) on Nov. 6, 2026, with no ZIP code entered, so they reflect whatever default location each page served. The Walmart $5.56 and the CVS $8.59 with its “Buy 1, get 1 for $1” tag are from the raw text of Instacart’s search page, so they are Instacart prices and not confirmed in-store prices. Instacart’s search page does not show these tiles on every load; we saw them on repeated reads in that window. Walmart’s own page showed $5.56 in one earlier research read at about 06:20 UTC the same day, then returned a robot check when we tried again. We do not get past those checks, and we print no Walmart stock status for that reason.
Target’s details come from two pages, which we read in summary form rather than as raw page text, and the pages do not all show the same things. The $5.99 price and the “New at” tag appear on both the product page and the search-results tile. In Stock appears on the product page only. The SNAP EBT eligible note and the Wed., Nov. 11 shipping estimate appear on the search-results tile only. The raw text we could download from Target confirms the barcode, the allergen line and the choking warning, but does not carry the price.
We could not read a price at Acme, Kroger, CVS.com or Hershey’s online store. Acme and Hershey’s store returned 403 errors, CVS.com was blocked during research, and Kroger returned nothing. Acme’s listing was seen in search results and is linked by Sporked. Hersheyland’s page shows no price, but because Hershey’s store would not load, we cannot say what it shows. We could not confirm Amazon, Walgreens or Sam’s Club either way, so this page says nothing about whether they carry it.
The September sighting is single-source. Sporked reported on Sept. 15, 2026, citing an Instagram account and an online listing, that the mix was appearing online but could not yet be bought. Hershey gives no on-shelf date or end date. We found no professional taste review, so this guide offers no assessment of the flavor. Customer reviews and retailer popularity badges are not used as data.
