How to Get Soralite in Palworld: Best Locations & Farming Guide

Soralite is the ore behind every endgame weapon in Palworld 1.0, and it exists in exactly one place: Sunreach. No drops, no shops, no alternative region. This guide covers how to get in, where the ore actually is, and — the part other guides skip — which published coordinates are worth your time.

Platforms. Palworld 1.0 runs on Windows PC (Steam, Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Mac (Mac App Store). It is on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but not Game Pass Essential. It is not on PS4, Nintendo Switch or Switch 2. Everything below applies to all of them — Soralite is not platform-specific.

Where is Soralite in Palworld?

Only in Sunreach, the cluster of floating sky islands added in 1.0. To get there you clear the Feybreak tower boss and step through the portal on top of the tower. Sunreach is a level 58–68 region and you need a glider to move between the islands.

That single fact rules out most of what people try. There is no Soralite on Palpagos, no Soralite on Sakurajima, none on Feybreak itself, and no Pal that drops it. If you have not beaten the Feybreak tower, you cannot farm this ore yet.

Which Soralite coordinates are actually reliable?

Here is the part worth reading carefully. Twelve distinct Soralite coordinates appear across the major guides. Only two of them are published by more than one guide.

Start at −302, −1426. Six nodes in a tight cluster, right next to a fast travel point. Our best base locations guide puts a base there for the same reason.

Worth being precise about why this one is the safe bet. All three guides we checked describe the spot east of the Farcry Marsh fast travel point — but only two give the identical coordinate −302, −1426 with six nodes. The third puts it at roughly −300, −1400 with five nodes. The place is corroborated three ways; the exact coordinate, twice. Either number lands you in the same cluster, so head for the fast travel point and look east rather than trusting a decimal.

We read the source page directly rather than a summary of it, so these are that site’s own values. The likely intent is −1427 and −1557, but a guessed minus sign is still a guess, so they are not on the map above.

What do you need to mine Soralite?

The Plasma Multicutter, unlocked at Technology 54. It is the only tool that harvests Soralite — a pickaxe of any tier does nothing to a Soralite deposit.

• It must be equipped to mine, like a weapon, not sitting in your bag.
• Base Pals cannot mine natural Soralite deposits. Mining work suitability does nothing here.

Natural deposits are reported to run on a 30-minute pickup cooldown before they can be harvested again. That figure comes from one guide only — treat it as approximate and time your loop rather than trusting it to the second.

How do you turn Soralite into something useful?

Two steps, and the second one has a gate people miss.

1 Soralite Ingot = 2 Soralite + 2 Pure Quartz, smelted at the Ancient Furnace (Technology 66).

A normal furnace of any tier cannot smelt Soralite. And note the second ingredient: Pure Quartz, which does not come from Sunreach at all — it is an Astral Mountains resource, so an endgame weapon run needs two regions supplying it. Our Pure Quartz guide covers that side.

You will see it claimed that the Ancient Furnace only runs with a Level-6 Kindling Pal and a Level-6 Ice Pal assigned. Our own Kindling guide , built from the paldb datamine, found no furnace in the game carries a work-level requirement — the “Kindling ×1” shown on furnace pages is a worker slot count, not a level gate.

How much Soralite do you actually need?

More than people plan for, because the ingot recipe doubles it.

The last column is both numbers. Every ingot is 2 Soralite and 2 Pure Quartz, so the raw ore you mine and the quartz you need are always the same figure — 200 of each for a Heavy Assault Rifle. That column is our arithmetic on the 2 + 2 recipe, not a figure anyone published. Higher rarity tiers cost roughly 25% more per tier on top of this, plus Ancient Civilization Parts.

When can you start farming Soralite?

Earlier than you can use it, which catches people out.

There is a twelve-level window where you can mine Soralite and do nothing at all with it. If you are at Technology 54–65, stockpiling is fine, but do not grind hundreds of ore expecting to spend them — you cannot smelt a single ingot until 66.

Is the Soralite Quarry worth building?

It is the only way to stop hand-mining, and it is expensive in a specific way.

• Technology 72, and it costs 7 Ancient Technology Points — the currency from tower bosses, not the ordinary points you get per level.
• Build cost: 70 Stone · 100 Soralite · 10 Ancient Civilization Parts
• Needs a Pal with Mining level 1 or better assigned — a low bar, unlike the natural deposits, which no Pal can touch.

The awkward part is the 100 Soralite. You have to hand-mine the thing that stops you hand-mining, and 100 ore is most of a full clear of the Farcry Marsh cluster several times over. It is still worth it if you intend to build more than one or two endgame weapons — 460 ingots is 920 ore, and the Quarry is the only supply that runs while you are elsewhere.

Beat the Feybreak tower, get the Plasma Multicutter at Technology 54, and set up at −302, −1426. That one coordinate is the only spot every guide agrees on, it holds six nodes, and it sits next to a fast travel point.

Then remember the two things the coordinate lists do not tell you: you cannot smelt anything until Technology 66, and every ingot costs two Pure Quartz as well as two Soralite. Plan the quartz supply before you plan the mining route.
