Key takeaways
  • The Love Island USA Season 8 reunion streams on Peacock on Monday 31 August 2026 at 9pm ET and 6pm PT. That is 2am on Tuesday 1 September in the UK and Ireland, 11am in Sydney and 1pm in Auckland.
  • Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen co-host, the second year running they have done the reunion together. Peacock says the winners, fan-favourite couples and the bombshells will all be there.
  • It is one special, not a two-parter. Season 8 ran to 35 episodes, and the reunion is the 36th and last thing on the schedule.
  • The wait has been unusually long: 50 days between the 12 July finale and the 31 August reunion, where the season itself lasted six weeks.
  • UK viewers do not need a workaround for the season itself. All 35 Season 8 episodes have been on ITVX free since 26 July 2026, despite streaming guides saying they would not arrive until November. The reunion episode is not in the UK catalogue yet.

The Love Island USA Season 8 reunion streams on Peacock on Monday 31 August 2026 at 9pm ET. Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen host it together, and it is a single special rather than a two-parter.

If you are outside the US, the useful news is that the season itself is easier to get to than most guides suggest — and in the UK it is free.

When is the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion?

Monday 31 August 2026, 9pm Eastern and 6pm Pacific.

Because it is a 9pm start on the US east coast, most of the rest of the world gets it the following day:

WhereWhen it starts
US Eastern9pm Mon 31 Aug
US Pacific6pm Mon 31 Aug
Toronto9pm Mon 31 Aug
UK and Ireland2am Tue 1 Sep
Sydney11am Tue 1 Sep
Auckland1pm Tue 1 Sep

Those are converted through a time zone database rather than by subtracting a fixed number of hours, which matters more often than people expect: the UK-to-US-Eastern gap is five hours on this date, but it is not five hours all year round.

Why has the wait been so long?

Fifty days between the finale and the reunion, on a season that itself ran six weeks.

The season premiered on 2 June 2026 and crowned its winners on 12 July. The reunion arrives on 31 August. Set against a season that ran six weeks, a seven-week gap between the last episode and the debrief is the unusual part of this cycle.

We have not found an explanation from the producers for the gap, and we are not going to invent one. It is simply a longer runway than this show has usually left between the finale and the reunion.

Where can you watch the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion?

Peacock, in the United States, and that is the only confirmed home for it.

The reunion is a Peacock exclusive, in the same place the season streamed. There is no linear US broadcast to catch it on, and no separate purchase — it sits inside a Peacock subscription like the rest of Season 8.

Everywhere else is a different question, and the honest answer has two halves.

AustraliaStanUnconfirmed
New ZealandTVNZ+Unconfirmed

The last three rows come from streaming guides rather than from the services themselves. We did not open Crave, Stan or TVNZ+, so they are marked as reported rather than checked. That is a smaller claim than most articles on this search make, and it is the one we can stand behind.

Can you watch Love Island USA Season 8 in the UK?

Yes, all of it, free, and you have been able to since 26 July.

This is worth stating clearly because the guidance floating around is wrong. Several streaming guides have said Season 8 would not reach the UK until Love Island UK finished, with November floated as the likely month. ITVX’s own catalogue says otherwise: Series 8 has been listed with 35 available episodes since 26 July 2026, on the free tier, no subscription required beyond a free ITVX account.

What is not there is the reunion. The Series 8 listing holds 35 episodes, which is the season’s main run and nothing else — consistent with a special that has not aired anywhere yet. ITVX does carry a Love Island USA reunion from an earlier series, so there is precedent, but a precedent is not a listing and we are not going to promise you a UK date that nobody has announced.

For reference, this is what the UK catalogue currently holds:

SeriesEpisodes on ITVX
Series 531
Series 637
Series 736
Series 835

The pattern in that table is the answer to the question. The earlier series carry an extra episode or two beyond the main run; Series 8 does not, yet.

Who is hosting the reunion, and who will be there?

Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, together, for the second year running.

Madix has fronted the villa all season and Cohen joins her on the reunion stage, as he did for the Season 7 reunion. Iain Stirling narrated the season itself, as he does the UK version.

Peacock’s announcement says the reunion will bring back the season’s winners, the fan-favourite couples and the bombshells, and that it will cover relationship updates, unseen villa moments, behind-the-scenes material from Fiji and the season’s bigger controversies. A full guest list has not been published, so anyone telling you exactly which islanders are confirmed is going beyond what has been announced.

What happened in Season 8 before the reunion?

Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum won it, and split a $100,000 prize decided by public vote.

⚠️ Season 8 results from here — skip to the next section if you are still catching up on the villa.

The final four, as voted:

PlaceCouple

2ndAniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt
3rdMelanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea
4thKayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou

The season ran 35 episodes from Fiji, and the reunion is the 36th and final piece of it. If you want the cast as they stood mid-season, we tracked the couples and their Instagram accounts while the villa was still full, and the whole cast’s ages and star signs at the start of the run.

What we still do not know

Who is actually turning up, how long it runs, and when anyone outside the US gets it.

There is no published guest list, so which islanders actually walk out on the night is unannounced. Reunions of this show have a habit of being defined by who is missing, and that is not something you can look up three weeks out.

There is no announced UK date for the reunion episode, and no announced date for Canada, Australia or New Zealand either. What we can tell you is that ITVX got the main season two weeks after the US finale, which is a more useful reference point than any prediction we could make.

And there is no runtime. Season 8’s reunion is listed as one special rather than a two-parter, but Peacock has not said how long it runs.

If you are reading this after 31 August 2026, the reunion has aired and everything above about the schedule is history rather than a plan — the dates are correct as announced, but a guest list and a UK listing may well exist by then that did not exist when this was written.

How we verified this

The date and hosts are cross-checked across independent reports of Peacock’s announcement. Peacock’s own blog post could not be opened from here, so the details were taken from separate trade and entertainment reports of the same announcement rather than from a single retelling of it, and they agree on the date, the time, the platform and the two hosts.

The UK section was read on ITVX itself, not taken from a guide. ITVX’s own catalogue lists Love Island USA Series 5 to 8, with Series 8 showing 35 available episodes from 26 July 2026 on the free tier. That directly contradicts widely repeated guidance that Season 8 would not reach the UK until around November, which is why the article says so plainly.

We are not claiming the reunion will be on ITVX. The Series 8 catalogue holds 35 episodes and no reunion, which is consistent with it simply not having aired anywhere yet. ITVX does carry an earlier Love Island USA reunion, so it is a reasonable expectation, but it is not a listing and is not presented as one.

Canada, Australia and New Zealand are reported, not confirmed. Third-party guides name Crave, Stan and TVNZ+ for the season. We did not open those services, so the article marks those rows as unconfirmed rather than repeating them as facts.

The times in other countries were converted with a time zone database, not by subtracting a fixed number of hours. The gap between US Eastern and UK time is five hours on 31 August 2026, but it is not five hours all year, and 9pm Monday in New York is already Tuesday in London, Sydney and Auckland.

Andy Cohen’s history is stated narrowly. Reports of this announcement describe Season 8 as his second consecutive year co-hosting with Ariana Madix, and he is documented on the Season 7 reunion. We make no claim about who co-hosted before that.
