Liverpool Fixtures 2026/27: Dates, TV Schedule and Streaming in the UK and US

Liverpool’s 2026/27 season starts away at Newcastle on Sunday 23 August, 16:30 BST — 11:30 a.m. Eastern. If you are watching in the United States, that game is on USA Network, and this year that matters more than it used to.

How do you watch Liverpool in the US in 2026/27?

NBCUniversal holds the American rights through 2028, and the games are spread across more places than most guides admit.

Matches air on NBC, NBCSN, USA Network, and in Spanish on Telemundo and Universo. Around 175 a season stream exclusively on Peacock , which also carries every match that airs on the NBC broadcast network, plus replays and a multiview feed.

The catch, and it is a new one. NBCUniversal has spun its cable channels — USA Network among them — into a separate company, Versant. Games on those channels no longer simulcast on Peacock. You need a pay-TV or live-TV login to watch them.

That is not an abstract problem for a Liverpool supporter. Their opening match is on USA Network. A Peacock subscription on its own will not show it. The live-TV services that carry USA Network include YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, Sling and DirecTV Stream.

How do you watch Liverpool in the UK?

Sky Sports and TNT Sports split the live rights; the BBC has the highlights.

Under the 2025–29 deal, Sky Sports shows a minimum of 215 matches a season — all first picks, the Saturday 17:30 and Sunday 14:00 and 16:30 slots, Monday and Friday nights, three midweek rounds, and all ten matches on the final day. TNT Sports shows at least 52, including every Saturday 12:30 kick-off and two midweek rounds. The BBC keeps Match of the Day highlights for all 380.

Liverpool’s opener is a Sunday 16:30, which is a Sky slot under that split. We have not seen a confirmed UK listing for it, so treat the channel as implied by the slot rather than announced.

The 3pm blackout still applies. No match kicking off between 14:45 and 17:15 on a Saturday is shown live in the UK. Everything outside that window now is.

What are all 38 Liverpool fixtures?

Dates and kick-off times come from the Premier League’s own fixture feed. Times are converted for both countries and account for the clock changes — note the week of 31 October, when the UK has gone back but the US has not, and the usual five-hour gap is briefly four.

Why are so many fixtures still marked “not yet selected”?

Because 27 of the 38 sit at Saturday 15:00, which is the default slot rather than a decision.

The Premier League publishes the full fixture list with everything at 15:00 on a Saturday unless a match has already been moved. Broadcasters then make their picks, normally confirmed about five to six weeks before the match, and the selected games get shifted into a televised slot.

Two consequences worth knowing:

• In the UK, a fixture that stays at Saturday 15:00 is not on live television at all. That is the blackout, not an oversight.
• In the US, there is no blackout. Those same matches are shown, which is why an American viewer often has more Liverpool football available than someone in Liverpool.

When does the season start and finish?

The 2026/27 Premier League season runs from Friday 21 August 2026 to Sunday 30 May 2027. Liverpool’s first match is on the opening Sunday and their last is at home to Bournemouth on the final day, when all ten matches kick off together and Sky shows every one of them in the UK.

What about cup and European fixtures?

This page covers the Premier League only, because that is the competition with a settled fixture list this far out. Domestic cup ties and any European campaign are drawn as the season goes and carry different broadcasters in both countries — a Champions League night is not on the same channel as a league Saturday. Check the competition, not just the club.
