2026 Little League World Series TV Schedule: How to Watch and Stream

All 38 games of the 2026 Little League World Series are live on ESPN’s television networks between Wednesday 19 August and Sunday 30 August, and the four biggest — including the final — are on ABC, which is free over the air.

The tournament is at the Little League International Complex in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, as it has been since 1959. Twenty teams, two stadiums, twelve days, one game left standing at 3 p.m. Eastern on 30 August.

One thing catches people out every year, and it is worse in 2026 than it used to be: the cheap ESPN subscription does not show you any of it.

When is the 2026 Little League World Series?

The Little League Baseball World Series runs from Wednesday 19 August to Sunday 30 August 2026. First pitch of the tournament is 1 p.m. ET on 19 August; the World Series Championship Game is 3 p.m. ET on 30 August.

That is worth stating plainly because a lot of listings have it wrong. Summaries circulating this month give the dates as 23–30 August, and several name 29 August as the day of the final. Neither matches Little League’s own schedule. The 29th is Championship Saturday — the International and U.S. bracket finals — and the winners of those two games meet the following afternoon.

There is also one full rest day: no games are played on Friday 28 August.

What channel is the Little League World Series on in 2026?

Every game is on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC. Counting ESPN’s published channel list: 33 games are on ESPN, one is on ESPN2, and four are on ABC. There is no game this year that lives only on a streaming service.

The single ESPN2 game is easy to miss — it is the 6 p.m. slot on Thursday 20 August, when the U.S. bracket’s West and Midwest representatives meet. Everything else on the first nine days is on ESPN itself.

The four ABC games are the ones most people are actually looking for.

Because ABC is a broadcast network rather than a cable channel, those four games — the two bracket championships and the World Series final among them — are free to anyone who can pick up their local ABC station with an antenna. No subscription of any kind is involved.

The consolation game at 10 a.m. on 30 August, between the two teams that lose on Championship Saturday, stays on ESPN.

Can I stream the Little League World Series without cable?

Yes, but not with the cheap ESPN plan. The subscription that carries these games directly from ESPN is ESPN Unlimited, at $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year. It includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN+ and ESPN on ABC, along with the rest of ESPN’s networks.

The plan that does not work is the one many people already pay for. ESPN Select is what ESPN+ was renamed to, existing ESPN+ subscribers were converted to it, and ESPN’s own description is blunt: Select “includes ESPN+ content only”. That was enough for 55 of the 86 regional games earlier this month. It is enough for exactly none of the 38 games in Williamsport.

If you would rather not add another subscription, the other two routes are a pay-TV login — the ESPN app will authenticate against a cable, satellite or fibre account and stream the same channels — or, for the four ABC games only, an antenna. A live-TV streaming package that carries both the ESPN channels and your local ABC station also works; YouTube TV, for example, advertises $82.99 a month on its own site, currently discounted to $67.99 for the first three months on an offer that ends 26 August 2026.

One warning worth repeating from other sports this year: check what your service actually carries before the final, not on the day. Streaming line-ups have been reshuffled repeatedly in 2026 — Hulu + Live TV and Fubo are merging under Disney, and the Hulu app itself is being folded into Disney+. A package that had ABC last season is not guaranteed to have it now. The same trap caught snooker fans this month, when the UK streaming home for TNT Sports moved off discovery+ and people kept opening an app with nothing in it.

What time do the games start where I am?

Every time Little League publishes is Eastern. Across all twelve days of the tournament the offset to every other zone below holds steady, so you can safely apply a single sum — something that is not always true, and stops being true for the UK in late October.

That last pair is the striking one. Ten of the twenty teams come from outside the United States, and for the ones furthest away the schedule is brutal: a 1 p.m. Eastern game starts at 2 a.m. in Tokyo and Seoul, and 3 a.m. in Sydney. If Japan’s Joto Little League or Korea’s West Seoul reach the final, their neighbourhoods will be watching at 4 a.m. on Monday 31 August.

The one genuinely friendly slot for Asia is the 9 a.m. ET start on Sunday 23 August, which lands at 10 p.m. that evening in Tokyo.

Which regional games are still to come this week?

Eight of the ten U.S. region championships are still to be played, between Wednesday 12 and Friday 14 August 2026, all on ESPN or ESPN2. Until they finish, the Williamsport bracket is filled in by region rather than by town.

ESPN carried 86 regional games in total this summer, beginning 6 August — 55 on ESPN+, 28 on ESPN and three on ESPN2 — from five host sites: Bristol, Connecticut; Whitestown, Indiana; Warner Robins, Georgia; Waco, Texas; and San Bernardino, California.

Two U.S. places are already settled. Phenix City Youth Baseball Little League of Alabama took the Southeast title on 11 August. The Southwest place went to Boerne Little League of Texas after an unusual week: Little League International’s Tournament Committee removed Tulsa National Little League from the regional for using an ineligible player, a Waco judge granted Tulsa a temporary restraining order, and on 11 August the court vacated it. Little League’s statement the same day ended, “We look forward to welcoming Boerne Little League to Williamsport.” Its own participating-teams table still read TBA when this was written.

Nine of the ten international places are filled: Japan (Joto, Tokyo), South Korea (West Seoul), Australia (Ryde, Sydney), Mexico (Tijuana), Panama (Chiriquí), Nicaragua (Leon), the Dominican Republic (Santiago), Curaçao (Willemstad) and Czechia (Brno). Canada’s representative is still to be confirmed.

Is the MLB Little League Classic on the same channel?

Yes — the MLB Little League Classic is on ESPN at 7:10 p.m. ET on Sunday 23 August, with the Milwaukee Brewers hosting the Atlanta Braves at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport. Players from both clubs spend the afternoon at Little League games before the evening’s first pitch.

It is the odd one out on ESPN’s baseball calendar in 2026, because ESPN no longer carries Sunday night MLB. The Little League Classic stayed.

Do you need a ticket to attend the Little League World Series?

Admission to Williamsport is free, and it always has been — but 2026 is the first year some games need a digital ticket for stadium seating. Little League’s own words are that “there is never any admission charge to attend the Little League Baseball World Series each August”, and separately that “there is no cost to attend the LLBWS”. The digital ticket is a seat allocation, not a price.

Three occasions at Lamade Stadium require one:

• Sunday 23 August, the 1 p.m. game. The other three games that day need no ticket.
• Championship Saturday, 29 August. One ticket covers both the International and U.S. championship games.
• Sunday 30 August, the World Series Championship Game. The consolation game that morning needs no ticket.

Here is the part nobody seems to have noticed: those are precisely the four games ABC is showing. The ticketed 23 August game is Game 19, which is the ABC game that day. Championship Saturday is ABC’s double header. The final is on ABC. Every game in Williamsport that now requires a seat request is a game you can watch for free with an antenna, and every game that is walk-up seating is on cable.

The conditions attached to “free” matter more than usual this year, so all of them together:

• The Lamade Stadium hillside never requires a ticket, for any game, and it holds up to 30,000 people. Seated capacity is far smaller — about 3,300 at Lamade and about 3,000 at Volunteer Stadium.
• Stadium seating for every other game is free on a first-come, first-served basis, excluding Section 1.
• Requesting a ticket is not the same as getting one. Little League’s ticket interest form takes requests for up to four tickets per day and says plainly that submitting it “does not reserve tickets or guarantee that stadium seating will be available”, and that “not everyone who completes the form will receive a ticket opportunity”.
• As of 12 August 2026, Little League had not yet published the FAQ or the request window it promised in June. If you want seats, the interest form is the only route it has named.

Parking is free too. Compare that with what a US Open ticket now costs , where the tournament will not even publish a price.

How does the 38-game format work?

The tournament is two phases, and everything that happens in the first one is wiped clean before the second. Twenty teams split into a ten-team International bracket and a ten-team U.S. bracket. Games 1 to 34 are Phase One; games 35 to 38 are Phase Two.

Phase One is double elimination with one modification: there is no “if necessary” game. Normally a team coming out of the losers’ bracket would have to beat the winners’ bracket finalist twice. Here, Phase One simply ends with the final game of the losers’ bracket, and both finalists from each bracket advance — four teams in total.

Phase Two is a straight four-team knockout. The two International survivors play for the International Championship, the two U.S. survivors play for the U.S. Championship, both on 29 August. The losers meet in the consolation game and the winners meet in the final on 30 August.

The practical consequence: a team can lose in Phase One and still win the whole thing, because those results carry no weight after 27 August. Pitching records do carry over, which is the real constraint on Championship Saturday.

There is one more game on the schedule that is not part of the bracket at all. The Little League Challenger Division Exhibition Game — teams from Berwyn, Pennsylvania and Oakley, California — is at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday 29 August at Volunteer Stadium, broadcast by the Pennsylvania PBS station WVIA rather than by ESPN.

Bottom line

If you only want the games that decide it, you need nothing at all: the two bracket championships on Saturday 29 August and the final at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday 30 August are on ABC, free with an antenna, and one of the four ABC games is on 23 August too.

If you want all twelve days, the direct route is ESPN Unlimited at $29.99 a month — and check that it is Unlimited, not Select. Select is the old ESPN+, it covered the regionals, and it will show you nothing from Williamsport.
