KFC Pickle Menu Australia 2026: Every Item, Every Price & How Long It Lasts

- KFC Australia’s Picklecore menu launched nationwide on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
- The core four: Frickles $5, Pickle Pepsi $5.50, Pickle Loaded Chips $8.95, Pickle Burger $11.45.
- Pickle Pepsi is assembled by you — Pepsi Max over ice with pickles, and the brine handed over in a separate cup.
- The $5 Pickle Cheesecake runs for seven days only, from Tuesday 15 to Monday 21 September.
- There is a Secret Menu Pickle Slider at $3.95 that will not be on the board.
- Sources disagree on the end date: three say 30 September, two say 28 September. Four weeks from Tuesday 1 September lands on Monday 28 September.
- Treat 28 September as your deadline. If it runs two days longer you have lost nothing by going early.
KFC Australia’s Picklecore menu is running nationwide now. Frickles are $5, the Pickle Burger is $11.45, and the Pickle Pepsi arrives with the brine in a separate cup for you to pour yourself.
One thing before the list: KFC’s own website blocks us, so everything below is reported by other outlets rather than read off the menu. Each price says how many independent sources state it, so you can see which numbers are solid.

The four core items are the ones you can trust to the cent. Two outlets with different owners give the same figure for the burger, the Frickles, the loaded chips and the drink. Everything below that line rests on a single report — not wrong, just unchecked.
And in every case, prices vary between stores. One of the outlets says so directly.
Frickles
$5, and they are exactly what you would guess: deep-fried pickles.
One outlet says you get eight pieces a serve. That is the only place that number appears, so treat it as indicative rather than a promise.
They also turn up inside the larger boxes — the Picklecore Meal is reported to include eight of them alongside the burger and chips.
The Pickle Burger
$11.45, and the most conventional thing on the menu.
It is an Original Recipe fillet with pickle ranch sauce, pickle dill seasoning, bread-and-butter pickles and pickle chips. A Zinger version is also reported, by one outlet.
A note on that fillet. Three outlets say Original Recipe; one says Original Crispy. The three-to-one version is used here, and it includes the outlet quoting KFC’s own marketing chief. But if the difference matters to you, it is worth asking at the counter.
If $11.45 for a burger alone feels steep, the Pickle Burger Box at $17.95 and the Picklecore Meal at $20.95 are the bundled versions — both single-sourced.
Pickle Pepsi
$5.50, and it is not a pre-mixed drink.
What you get is Pepsi Max poured over ice with fresh pickles in it, and then a separate serving of pickle brine on the side. You pour in as much as you want. KFC’s framing is that you find your own “perfect Pickle Pepsi ratio”.
That is the detail most write-ups flatten, and it changes the proposition entirely: nobody has decided how pickled your cola is except you. If you order one and it arrives with a cup of brine next to it, nothing has gone wrong.
It is a Pepsi Max base, not standard Pepsi.
The cheesecake’s seven days

The $5 Pickle Cheesecake is a seven-day item: Tuesday 15 September to Monday 21 September.
Two outlets give that window, which makes it better sourced than most of what is on this menu. The $5 price comes from one.
It is the only part of the promotion that has not started yet, which makes it the only thing on this page you can still plan around rather than just go and buy. It is also the shortest run — the rest of the menu gets four weeks, this gets one.
When it actually ends
Nobody agrees, and this is the one fact that costs you something to get wrong.
- Three outlets say 30 September — a Wednesday.
- Two outlets say 28 September — a Monday.
Counting does not settle it, so here is the arithmetic instead, which is ours rather than anyone’s reporting:
The menu launched on Tuesday 1 September. Four weeks from a Tuesday ends on a Monday — 28 September. One of the outlets claiming the 30th describes the run as “four weeks only”, which cannot be true of a 30 September end date. And the cheesecake window runs Tuesday to Monday, the same weekly cycle KFC Australia normally uses.
So treat Monday 28 September as the deadline. If it does run to the 30th, going early has cost you nothing.
Why we could not read KFC’s own site
Because kfc.com.au returns a 403 to everything.
The menu, the deals page, the news page and the API path all come back with an Akamai “Access Denied” — to a plain request, to an automated fetcher and to a full browser alike. There is no separate KFC Australia press site: neither media.kfc.com.au nor newsroom.kfc.com.au exists. Yum! Brands’ global newsroom does not mention the promotion at all.
We did not try to get around it. That is the reason this page counts sources instead of quoting a menu — and the reason there are no kilojoule figures on it, because nutrition information is exactly the sort of thing that should not be relayed third-hand.
What that means for you: the four core prices are as good as secondary reporting gets, the rest are single-sourced, and the app or the board in-store is the only thing that settles any of it.
The bottom line
Frickles $5, Pickle Pepsi $5.50, Loaded Chips $8.95, Pickle Burger $11.45 — those four are the solid numbers.
The cheesecake is a seven-day window from 15 September, and the whole thing is safest treated as ending on Monday 28 September. Ask about the Secret Menu Pickle Slider at $3.95 if you want the item nobody has put on a board.
Prices and dates reported by five outlets with different owners; KFC Australia’s own site returns HTTP 403 and could not be read. Each figure above carries the number of independent sources that state it.
