Key takeaways
  • 🔑 The EuroMillions draw on Friday 2 October 2026 (draw 1986) gave the main numbers 7, 8, 10, 22 and 35 and the Lucky Stars 2 and 10. The UK Millionaire Maker code was XJJD 63283. The draw used machine 14 and ball set 20, according to the National Lottery’s own draw page.
  • The jackpot was £24,555,324. The operator’s prize table shows one winner across all participating countries and none in the UK. The ticket was sold in Spain, and Spanish press citing Spain’s lottery operator places it in Cabezón de la Sal, Cantabria. The winner has not been named in anything we read.
  • UK players still won £2,768,071.30 across 471,487 winners. The top main-game prize was £218,211.30 for one UK ticket matching five numbers and one Lucky Star, and one UK ticket won the £1,000,000 Millionaire Maker raffle. As of Saturday 3 October 2026 we found no announcement that either winner has come forward.
  • Match 2 was the most common UK win: 282,868 tickets won £2.40 each, which is less than the £2.50 price of a line. Across all participating countries 1,894,408 tickets won a prize, and 471,487 of them, just under one in four, were in the UK.
  • UK prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw, according to the operator’s How to claim page, which by our count means by Wednesday 31 March 2027 for this draw. A figure of 90 days on one European results site does not match the National Lottery’s own rule.
  • The next EuroMillions draw is on Tuesday 6 October 2026. The operator’s own site shows an estimated jackpot of £14M, with a footnote saying EuroMillions jackpots are estimates. That figure is the operator’s estimate, not a forecast, and it can change before the draw.

The EuroMillions draw on Friday 2 October 2026 produced the main numbers 7, 8, 10, 22 and 35 with Lucky Stars 2 and 10, and its £24.6m jackpot was won by a ticket sold in Spain, not in the UK. UK players still shared £2,768,071.30 in prizes, including one £1,000,000 Millionaire Maker win. This page is written as of Saturday 3 October 2026, and every figure comes from the operator Allwyn’s own draw page unless we say otherwise.

What were the EuroMillions numbers on Friday 2 October 2026?

The main numbers were 7, 8, 10, 22 and 35, and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 10. This was draw number 1986. The UK Millionaire Maker code was XJJD 63283, and the draw used machine 14 with ball set 20. The numbers match across four sources: the operator’s draw page, two results sites and Spanish press.

Who won the £24.6m jackpot?

One ticket won the jackpot of £24,555,324, and it was sold in Spain. The operator’s prize table shows one Match 5 + 2 Stars winner across all participating countries and none in the UK, so no UK ticket shared in it. Spanish press, citing Spain’s own lottery operator, places the ticket in Cabezón de la Sal in Cantabria. We have not seen the winner named, and we have not guessed.

Why do some results pages say £28 million?

Because €28,871,634 is the euro value of the same jackpot, and at least one UK results page seems to have mixed the two currencies. The operator’s sterling figure is £24,555,324, which is the one we use. Spanish reports and a European results site quote the euro amount. We have not converted anything ourselves.

What did UK players win?

UK players won £2,768,071.30 across 471,487 winners, and the biggest main-game prize was £218,211.30 for one ticket that matched five numbers and one Lucky Star. Here is the operator’s full UK breakdown for draw 1986.

Rows follow the operator’s order, which runs by prize size. “Raffle” is the UK Millionaire Maker.

Multiply each row out and the 13 EuroMillions tiers come to £1,768,071.30. Adding the £1,000,000 raffle prize gives the operator’s stated total to the penny.

Match 2 was by far the most common win. In all, 282,868 UK tickets won £2.40 each, about six in ten of the 471,486 winners in the 13 tiers, and £2.40 is less than the £2.50 price of a line. Across all participating countries 1,894,408 tickets won a prize, and 471,487 of them, just under one in four, were in the UK.

Who won the UK Millionaire Maker £1 million?

One UK entry with the code XJJD 63283 won £1,000,000, and as of Saturday 3 October 2026 we found no announcement of who holds it. We also found none for the £218,211.30 Match 5 + 1 Star prize. We found no report of either winner coming forward, so we have not said that either has.

The raffle code is separate from your EuroMillions numbers, so check your code against the one above. Do not mix it up with Spain’s own El Millón raffle, whose winning code was GKH34441, or with the code for the 25 September draw, JGDK 67415.

How long do you have to claim?

You have 180 days from the draw to claim a UK EuroMillions prize, which by our count means until Wednesday 31 March 2027 for this one. The operator’s How to claim page says all draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the draw, and that prizes not claimed in time are forfeited. It also mentions a procedure for claiming within seven days after that period ends, under the game’s rules. One European results site gives 90 days for this draw, which does not match the National Lottery’s own rule, so do not rely on it for a UK ticket. Check the exact cut-off with the operator.

What is the next EuroMillions jackpot?

The operator’s own site shows an estimated jackpot of £14M for the next draw on Tuesday 6 October 2026. After this jackpot was won, that is the headline figure. The page carries a footnote saying EuroMillions jackpots are estimates. It is Allwyn’s published estimate, not a forecast, and it can change before the draw.

Is this the same draw as the £111.7m UK jackpot?

No, the £111.7m UK jackpot was won a week earlier, on Friday 25 September 2026 (draw 1984), when one UK ticket took £111,709,000. The operator’s page for that draw shows one jackpot winner and one UK winner, with the Millionaire Maker code JGDK 67415. The draw in between, on Tuesday 29 September (draw 1985), had a £14,587,700 jackpot that nobody won. So the last three draws ended with a UK jackpot winner, then no winner, then a winner in Spain.

Where can you check your own ticket?

The only result that counts is the one on the National Lottery’s own results page, where the checker covers draws from the last 7, 30 or 180 days. If a website and the operator disagree, the operator is right, and that includes this one. For Lotto, Thunderball and Set For Life, and the rules that apply to every game, our National Lottery results guide covers the rest of the range.

Nothing here is advice to play, and no page can tell you which numbers to pick. If the fun stops, GamCare is on 0808 8020 133, free and open 24 hours.

How we verified this
Sources and method. We re-read the operator’s own pages on the evening of Saturday 3 October 2026 (UK time): the draw-details page for draw 1986 (numbers, Lucky Stars, Millionaire Maker code, machine, ball set and the full prize table), the draw history and the results checker page. Nothing had changed since an earlier read the same morning. The numbers and the jackpot were then matched against a UK results site, a European results site that also lists the same UK prize rows line for line, and Spanish press. Prize table arithmetic. We recomputed the table rather than copying it. The 13 EuroMillions tier rows (UK winners multiplied by prize each) sum to £1,768,071.30, and adding the £1,000,000 raffle prize gives £2,768,071.30, which is the operator’s stated total. UK winners add to 471,486 in the tiers plus one raffle winner, 471,487, and all-country winners add to 1,894,407 plus one, 1,894,408; both match the operator’s totals. The European results site’s “total winners” of 1,894,407 is the tier-only figure, which is why it is one lower than the operator’s 1,894,408. We followed the operator. Conflicting jackpot figure. One UK results page gave the jackpot as £28 million. That matches the euro amount, €28,871,634, quoted in Spanish press and on the European results site, so it looks like a currency mix-up. The operator and a second UK results site give £24,555,324. We followed the operator’s sterling figure and did not convert between currencies ourselves. Where the jackpot ticket was sold. The operator’s table shows one Match 5 + 2 Stars winner and zero UK winners, and the European results site says the ticket was purchased in Spain. The town, Cabezón de la Sal in Cantabria, was reported by Spanish outlets owned by three different publishing groups (a national radio network, a national free daily and a regional daily), and the radio network’s article attributes it to Spain’s state lottery operator. We name the town but not the retailer, and we do not name or speculate about the winner. Spain’s separate El Millón raffle (code GKH34441, reported as won in Málaga) is a different prize and was not used as UK data. Claim period. The operator’s How to claim page says all draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the draw and that unclaimed prizes are forfeited, and the draw history page covers the previous 180 days. The same page mentions a procedure allowing a claim within seven days after the period ends, under the game’s rules; we did not read that rule text, so we do not describe how it works. The 31 March 2027 date is our own count of 180 days from 2 October 2026, not a date the operator states. We did not use the 90-day, 31 December 2026 claim date given on the European results site, because it does not match the National Lottery’s rule. Still moving at write time. As of Saturday 3 October 2026 we found no announcement, in UK or Spanish news listings, that the holder of the £1,000,000 Millionaire Maker prize (XJJD 63283) or the £218,211.30 Match 5 + 1 Star prize has come forward, so the page says neither has been reported. The £14M next-draw figure is the operator’s own estimate and moves with ticket sales. Both go stale after the Tuesday 6 October 2026 draw. Left out on purpose. There is no draw clock time, because the operator pages we used give days and dates only. There is no hot, cold or lucky-number content and no advice on picking numbers. The jackpot odds are not repeated here because the multi-game results guide already carries them. No betting odds, spreads, or win-probability models appear anywhere on this page.
