  • ⚠️ BBC iPlayer is UK-only, and we could not confirm a licensed way to watch the final abroad.

The Celebrity Traitors series 2 final is on BBC One on Friday 30 October 2026 from 8pm to 9.20pm GMT, and you can watch it live on BBC iPlayer at the same time. The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked – Finale follows on BBC One and iPlayer from 9.20pm to 10pm.

We checked the BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Three schedules and the BBC programme pages at 06:20 GMT on Friday 30 October 2026, before the final was broadcast. This page has no names or results until a clearly marked spoiler section near the end.

When is The Celebrity Traitors final on TV?

The final is on BBC One on Friday 30 October 2026, from 8pm to 9.20pm GMT.

  • It is episode 10 of 10, titled “Finale”, and it is the last episode of series 2.
  • It starts in the series’ usual 8pm slot. All of series 2 has gone out at 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays since 1 October. The final is the only episode that runs to 9.20pm.
  • BBC One England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all list the same slot.
  • UK clocks went back on Sunday 25 October, so these times are in GMT.
  • BBC News at Ten follows at 10pm, after Uncloaked.

Schedules can change at short notice for breaking news, so check the BBC One listing on the day if you are recording it.

How long is the final, and what comes straight after it?

The final is a single extended episode in an 80-minute slot. The BBC lists it at 1 hour 17 minutes, and The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked – Finale follows straight after.

It is not split into two parts. The BBC programme page says the players face their “final, explosive mission”. Then, “with the prize fund complete”, the synopsis asks whether the Faithful will banish every Traitor or the Traitors will deceive them until the end.

Uncloaked – Finale runs from 9.20pm to 10pm on BBC One and is listed at 39 minutes. Ed Gamble presents. The BBC says Claudia Winkleman and the finalists join him and a studio audience to discuss the endgame. The BBC does not say it is live, so we don’t either.

⚠️ Uncloaked is a spoiler zone. The BBC’s synopsis says the guests “react to the big final outcome”. If you plan to watch the final later on iPlayer, watch the final before you watch Uncloaked.

How can I watch the final live or on BBC iPlayer?

Watch it live on BBC One or stream it live on BBC iPlayer from 8pm. The BBC says the episode will be on iPlayer “shortly after broadcast” for catch-up.

  • Live on TV: BBC One, 8pm to 9.20pm GMT, then Uncloaked – Finale until 10pm.
  • Live online: the BBC One stream on BBC iPlayer carries both programmes at the same time as the broadcast.
  • On demand: the finale page says it will be available shortly after broadcast. Uncloaked – Finale is also listed on iPlayer.
  • Earlier episodes: all nine earlier episodes of series 2 are on iPlayer now. The BBC lists audio-described and signed versions as well as the standard ones. It lists episode 9 as available for over a year (standard and audio-described versions until October 2027).
  • Accessible versions of the finale: the BBC had not listed audio-described or signed versions of the finale when we checked. They have been provided for the earlier episodes, so check the episode page after broadcast.

If you need the full map of the series, including where the companion shows sit, our where to watch guide for series 2 covers it.

Do I need a TV Licence to watch the final?

Yes. You need a TV Licence to watch any channel live and to use BBC iPlayer at all, including for catch-up.

GOV.UK says a licence is needed to watch or record live TV on any channel or service, and to use BBC iPlayer. A standard licence costs £180 a year. The same page says you can be fined up to £1,000 for watching or recording live TV without one. GOV.UK also says you may get a free or discounted licence if you are 75 or over and get Pension Credit, or if you are blind or in residential care.

When are the repeats if I miss the final?

BBC Three repeats the final on Sunday 1 November at 10.05pm, and BBC Two shows it overnight in the early hours of Wednesday 4 November at 1.40am.

The table lists each repeat by date, the channel, and which programme it is. All times are GMT.

WhenChannelProgramme
Sun 1 Nov, 22:05BBC ThreeFinal
Wed 4 Nov, 01:40BBC TwoFinal
Wed 4 Nov, 03:00BBC TwoUncloaked
  • On BBC Three, the episode 9 repeat comes first, at 9pm on Sunday 1 November, so you can watch both back to back.
  • We read the BBC Two times from the BBC Two England listing. We did not check the Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland versions of BBC Two.
  • The schedule does not mark the BBC Two overnight repeat as the signed version, so we don’t call it that.

Can I watch the final outside the UK?

We could not confirm any licensed way to watch the final outside the UK. BBC iPlayer works only in the UK.

Some guides list 10 and 10 Play as the home of series 2 in Australia, but we could not confirm the finale’s timing on 10’s own pages, so check local listings there. In Ireland, BBC One is part of the channel line-up on some TV services, so check your provider’s guide. We do not give advice on getting round iPlayer’s location limits.

For anyone following the coverage from abroad, 8pm GMT on Friday 30 October works out like this. The table gives the place, the local start time and the day.

PlaceLocalDay
Ireland20:00Friday
Central Europe21:00Friday
US Eastern16:00Friday
US Pacific13:00Friday
Sydney07:00Saturday

The US times are on daylight time, which runs until Sunday 1 November. Ireland’s clocks went back on 25 October, the same day as the UK’s.

What is the prize, and how does the final work?

The players compete for up to £100,000 for their chosen charities. If a Traitor is still in the game at the end, the Traitors take all of it.

That is the BBC’s own description of the format for series 2. The BBC’s finale synopsis says the players face a “final, explosive mission” and then, “with the prize fund complete”, the last decisions of the game. The BBC News live page put the fund at £64,500 at the start of the episode 9 round table. The final total had not been revealed when we checked, and we will not guess it.

This page makes no predictions about who will win, and it does not cover odds or fan theories.

Will there be a third series of The Celebrity Traitors?

Yes. In March 2026 the BBC recommissioned The Celebrity Traitors, and the main series, for at least three more series each, but it has not announced a date or cast for celebrity series 3.

The next civilian series of The Traitors has not been dated by the BBC yet either. Any lists of possible celebrity contestants you see are guesswork until the BBC confirms them.

If you want to know who took part this year, our Celebrity Traitors cast guide introduces all 21 players in spoiler-free profiles (its one game section is flagged and dated to episode 2).

Spoiler warning: who is left before the final?

Spoilers for episode 9 follow. At the end of episode 9 on Thursday 29 October, seven players were left: two Traitors and five Faithful.

Stop here if you have not watched episode 9. The rest of this section names who is left and what happened in the semi-final. It says nothing about the final itself.

At the end of episode 9 on Thursday 29 October:

  • Traitors still in the game: Maya Jama and King Kenny.
  • Faithful still in the game: Michael Sheen, Romesh Ranganathan, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, James Blunt and Sebastian “Bash” Croft.

Here is what happened in episode 9, in order:

  1. Joanne McNally, a Faithful, was banished. King Kenny used his double vote to choose between her and Sharon Rooney, the pair left facing banishment at the end of episode 8.
  2. Sharon Rooney was murdered.
  3. At the round table, James Acaster confessed that he was a Traitor and was banished.

According to the BBC’s coverage, one more murder is still to come. The BBC’s summary of the series 2 format says the remaining Faithful must banish every Traitor to win the money for charity.
