The Bold and the Beautiful This Week: Recap and Review, 27–31 July 2026
- Two episodes of this week have aired. Monday sent Steffy into Hope’s new office at Logan to call her a liar, and Hope did not give an inch — she does not answer to Steffy any more, and says that is part of why she left in the first place.
- Tuesday split Steffy’s war in two. She spent the morning with Finn being reassured that Sheila is no longer a threat, then walked out of his office and straight into Sheila, and told her she will never be accepted into the family. Not ever.
- The Will and Dylan thread from last Friday has consequences already. Dylan gave Wyatt a false name at the beach house on Monday, then told a friend the whole story on Tuesday.
- These are episodes 220 and 221 of season 39. Wednesday to Friday, 29 to 31 July, are episodes 222 to 224 and have not aired yet; this page is updated as they do.
Last week ran on the fallout from Will’s accidental punch, thrown on the Tuesday. This week opens with a door being kicked in — figuratively, and by Steffy. Hope’s defection to Logan Fashion turned from gossip into a face-to-face confrontation on Monday, and by Tuesday Steffy had opened a second front with Sheila.

What has happened on The Bold and the Beautiful this week so far?
Steffy has picked two fights and lost ground in both.
Monday was the confrontation everyone knew was coming: Steffy walked into Hope’s office at Logan expecting an apology and got a woman who has stopped taking her calls. Tuesday moved the same energy onto Sheila, with a warning that lands as a promise Steffy may not be able to keep. Running underneath both is the Will and Dylan situation, which is now three days old and already generating lies.
What happened each day, 27–31 July?
Monday 27 July — Hope stands her ground
Steffy barges into Hope’s office at Logan and does not get what she came for.
The demand is that Hope admit what she has done is wrong: she deceived everyone about the job offer, and by taking it she has started a war between the families. Hope does not argue the facts. She argues the standing — she does not answer to Steffy any more, and says that is one of the reasons she left. When Steffy reaches for the promise Hope had made about her line returning to Forrester, Hope tells her she is with family now, somewhere Steffy does not get a say. Steffy leaves telling her she will regret it.
Elsewhere, R.J. finds Electra at the design office. They go over Will’s accidental punch at Eric, and Electra notices Dylan is not at work — her car is not outside. R.J. pushes her to treat the mess as an opening rather than a setback: she deserves the room she is being given.
At the beach house, Dylan wakes up next to Will and immediately sets terms — nobody can know, or she loses her job. Then Wyatt arrives, tells his brother that Forresters and Spencers do not mix, and Dylan introduces herself to him as Nancy. Once he has gone she tells Will he needs to move on from Electra. The episode ends with both Electra and Will separately thinking about each other.
Tuesday 28 July — Steffy warns Sheila
Finn promises Steffy that Sheila is not a threat any more, and Steffy meets Sheila roughly ninety seconds later.
In his office at the hospital the two of them take stock: the Spencer conflict, Steffy’s determination to keep Sheila away from the family, and Finn’s assurance that she does not need to fear Sheila any more. It is the kind of promise this show exists to break.
On her way out Steffy runs into Sheila, who says she is there to see Li. Steffy accuses her of stalking Finn and leaning on his mother, and delivers the line the episode is built around: Sheila will never be accepted into her family. Not ever.
At Forrester, Dylan tells her friend Jessica, a hostess who has come to see her there, what happened with Will — that they made out and fell asleep on his couch — and does a poor job of hiding her guilt about it. Her defence is that Electra ended things for good and that Will’s own brother asked her to look after him.
At Logan, Wyatt finds Will still brooding about Electra and tells him plainly to stop leading people on and start moving forward.

Is Hope’s move to Logan the start of a war?
Monday’s episode says yes, and it is Steffy who is calling it that.
The accusation is not really about the job. Steffy’s case is that Hope deceived everyone, and that the deception is what makes it an act of aggression rather than a career move. Hope’s counter is quieter and more damaging: she was never obliged to clear it with Steffy, and being treated as though she was is part of what pushed her out.
That is a stronger position than the show usually gives the person walking away, and it is why the scene does not end in the usual stalemate. Steffy’s parting shot — that Hope will regret it — is the line of someone who has run out of leverage.
Was this a good start to the week?
Two solid episodes, and the second is better than the first.
Monday does what a Monday has to do: it converts last week’s fallout into a scene where two people say the quiet part out loud. It is efficient, and Hope holding her ground gives the argument somewhere to go. The weakness is that the beach house material around it is doing the same work as Friday’s episode — Will thinking about Electra, Dylan managing him — without advancing much beyond a false name.
Tuesday is the better constructed of the two. Putting Finn’s reassurance about Sheila immediately before Steffy walking into her is a straightforward piece of soap engineering and it works; the promise is undermined before the audience has stopped hearing it. It also gives Steffy a fight she can win, which the Hope confrontation deliberately did not.
The thread to watch is Dylan. She has now given a false name to one Spencer and the truth to a friend from outside the Forrester building, in the space of two episodes, and the show is clearly building the moment when those two versions meet.
Our read so far: 7/10 for the two episodes aired. That is a judgement on two of five, and this week’s shape depends on whether Wednesday to Friday pay off the Sheila warning or park it.
