How to Watch Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra Launch Live: US and UK Streams
- The event is Wednesday 9 September 2026. Apple’s US page gives 10 a.m. PT; Apple’s UK page gives 6 pm. Those are the same moment — 1 p.m. Eastern.
- Apple names exactly two ways to watch, on both its US and UK pages: apple.com, or the Apple TV app. It does not mention YouTube on either.
- Apple has not confirmed a single product name. Neither ‘iPhone 18’, ‘iPhone 18 Pro’ nor ‘iPhone Ultra’ appears anywhere on its event pages. The only words Apple has published about the content are the tagline: Surprise and shine.

Apple’s next event is on Wednesday 9 September 2026, and there are two confirmed ways to watch it: apple.com or the Apple TV app.
One thing to get straight before the rest. Apple has not said what it is launching. The four words it has published are “Surprise and shine.” No product name appears on its event pages — not iPhone 18, not iPhone 18 Pro, not iPhone Ultra. Those names come from reporting and leaks, not from Apple, and this page keeps the two apart.

When is Apple’s September 2026 event?
Wednesday 9 September 2026. Apple gives the time differently depending on which country’s site you land on, and both are correct — they are the same instant.

The two figures Apple publishes itself are 10 a.m. PT and 6 pm UK. We converted the first independently and got the second, which is a useful check that nothing is off by an hour in either direction.
Both event pages have an “Add to Calendar” link. For anything time-critical across zones, that is more reliable than any table, including this one — use it.
How do you watch it live in the US?
Two routes, both named by Apple:

The stream appears on the event page itself at start time. There is no sign-in, no subscription and no ticket — Apple events are free and open.
Apple has historically published an ASL version too. Its archive lists a “Watch in ASL” option alongside every recent event on the US site. Apple has not yet posted one for 9 September, which is normal at twelve days out.
How do you watch it live in the UK?

The UK page is worth using rather than the US one, for one small reason: it states the time as 6 pm in your own zone, so there is nothing to convert and nothing to get wrong. The stream itself is identical.
6 p.m. BST is a comfortable slot in the UK — an evening watch rather than the middle of the working day, which is not always how these land.
What has Apple actually confirmed?
Very little, and the gap between that and the coverage is the point of this section.

“Surprise and shine” is the only content signal Apple has given, and it is a tagline, not a spec sheet. Reading a product roadmap out of four words is a game, not reporting.
None of this means the leaks are wrong. Apple never pre-announces product names, so their absence tells you nothing about what will be on stage. It only tells you what is currently known, which is what a page like this should be careful about.
Will it be on YouTube?
Apple does not say so, and we could not confirm it either way.
Apple’s US and UK event pages both name exactly two routes, and YouTube is not one of them. That is the fact. What we cannot tell you is whether Apple will add one: an attempt to read Apple’s YouTube channel returned an essentially empty page — a failed read rather than a confirmed absence.
What is reasonable to expect, stated as expectation rather than fact: Apple has streamed recent events on YouTube, and the placeholder video usually appears in the days before, not twelve days out. If you prefer YouTube, check the channel nearer the time. If you want certainty now, use one of the two routes Apple names.
What did Apple announce at its last two September events?
Useful context for calibrating expectations, and all of it is on Apple’s own archive page rather than from memory:

Both were on 9 September, and so is this one. Three consecutive years on the same calendar date is a stronger pattern than Apple’s September events usually show, and it is checkable in two clicks on Apple’s own site.
The most recent Apple event of any kind was WWDC on 8 June 2026, where Apple introduced a new Siri powered by Apple Intelligence and expanded Child Safety features — which is the software backdrop whatever hardware appears on 9 September.

How we verified this
🔴 Every product name in the title of this page is unconfirmed, and Apple is the reason we can say that precisely. The words “iPhone 18”, “iPhone 18 Pro” and “iPhone Ultra” appear nowhere on Apple’s US or UK event pages. What Apple has published about the content of this event is four words: Surprise and shine. Everything else circulating about what will be announced is reporting, leaks or inference, none of which is on this page as fact.
✅ The times come from Apple’s own pages in each market, not from a conversion. The US page states 10 a.m. PT; the UK page states 6 pm. Those were read separately. Our own conversion of 10 a.m. PDT gives 6 p.m. BST, which matches Apple’s UK page exactly — so the two agree and neither is doing the other’s work.
✅ The streaming routes are quoted, not summarised. Both pages carry the same sentence: “Tune in at apple.com or on the Apple TV app.” That is the complete list Apple gives.
⚠️ We could not verify whether there will be a YouTube stream, and this page does not claim there will not be. Apple’s own pages do not mention YouTube. An attempt to read Apple’s YouTube channel listing returned a page with almost no content — a failed read, not evidence of absence.
